There are lots of wonderful ways for women to fellowship with their Christian sisters and get plugged in at Koinonia Fellowship. Our desire is to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, to Whom we give all of the glory. To that end we offer several different groups separate from our general church meetings.
We have Ladies Prayer on the first and third Monday at noon, and a women’s bible study (“Synergetic Sisters”) that meets Tuesday mornings at ten. This is a wonderful interactive study in the scriptures in an informal setting and each lesson is individual, so you’re invited to stop in at any time.
We also hold a monthly Agape Dinner for ladies at 6 pm on the fourth Thursday, except during the summer and in November and December. We enjoy a catered dinner together, worship, and then either have a speaker or an open mike night, where ladies can share testimonies.
If you’re looking for a way to plug in and share your gifts, there are a few different ministries that can always use more help!
We offer a “meals ministry” for the sick and new moms. Volunteers receive an email stating the meal need, dates to choose from, and address of the recipient. To get involved, or if you are in need of the meals ministry, please contact Kim Ostrowski.
Our hospitality ministry sets up, serves, and cleans up for the receptions held in the Agape Hall after funerals and other events. If you’d like to plug into this ministry, please contact Jackie Damico.
The Baby Blessings ministry, overseen by Leslee Danesi, offers a basket of goodies for the first-time mom and baby, as well as prayer, a listening ear, and help settling into our church nursery for all moms when a new baby arrives. So, if you’re expecting please contact the church office to register for Baby Blessings.
These are some great ways that sisters in the Lord can get together in friendship and fellowship as we draw closer to Christ. Please, come and introduce yourself to me if we’ve never met; I’d love to make your acquaintance. We want to be here for you and always point you to Christ!
God bless you!
