On Valentine’s Day the children’s ministry had a time to be creative and learn of true love – God’s love for his creation! Families built churches from gingerbread and decorated them with many types of candies/sweets.
We had around 30 people in attendance and had a fun time being creative while hearing the gospel presented in a way that the children were able to participate in. We also played a fun game based on God’s love for us involving scripture and passing a gift around.
Dinner was provided and children were able to bring their ‘churches’ home and enjoy them even more while giving thanks to God, not just for the yummy treats, fun time at our church but for the magnificent plan of Jesus our savior and how he showed us what true love is.
