Good morning, I really need prayers right now. Things have been not good in awhile. I have been out of work for a while because of health reasons and I have no income and have been struggling financially. Now today my granddaughter Riley has a 102 temperature and with this horrible disease she has can progress her disease. Lilly passed from the progression of this disease and I’m so nervous and scared. Please pray for her and help me find peace and faith. I don’t know if I can handle this anymore.

"Sharon" has come to CompassCare for three visits. At her most recent appointment, she reported still having "mixed feelings" about continuing her pregnancy. Because of her mental health struggles she feels it would be "selfish to bring a baby into [her] stressful situation." She also explained she wants children someday, but not before she has a successful career. The father of the baby and her sister have expressed support for her to continue her pregnancy. During the ultrasound, Sharon smiled at her fourteen-week-old baby actively moving on the screen. She decided to surrender her life to Christ when her nurse shared the gospel with her and agreed to get in touch with a MotherCare mentor. Pray Sharon's life, heart and mind are transformed by her new relationship with Christ. Pray she resolves to continue her pregnancy and connect with a mature Christian mentor through MotherCare. -------- UPDATES: "Hailey", who is working towards a college degree and feels now is a bad time to be pregnant, had declined an ultrasound exam at her first appointment due to the early stage of her pregnancy. When she returned for a second appointment, Hailey said she feels firm on her decision to get an abortion. After the ultrasound exam however, she said she feels conflicted and wants to talk more with the father of the baby. She agreed to have her nurse follow-up with her in the next few days. Pray Hailey is convicted of the truth about abortion. Pray she decides against taking the life of her child and resolves to continue her pregnancy. -------- "Sky" returned for a second appointment still undecided about continuing her pregnancy or getting an abortion. She told her nurse about the stressful week she had. In addition to having a minor car accident, she ended her relationship with the father of the baby and he moved out. (The father & his family were in favor of the pregancy.) Sky said she is feeling anxious and hasn't been sleeping. She agreed to schedule another follow-up appointment. Please pray the seeds of the gospel planted in Sky's heart take root and grow. Pray she turns to the Lord for salvation and guidance and this baby's life is spared from abortion.

My son overdosed on heroin but received a lifesaving dose of Narcan shortly after his collapse. He was rushed to ER and his condition is currently stable. Please pray for his recovery and salvation. Thank you saints.

(11/2): Please pray for Andy, who is in a Buffalo area hospital ICU with multiple fractures and internal injuries as the result of a bad fall last week. Pray for recovery and healing, comfort and peace, and for his salvation. ------- Pray for Bob & Judy B. who recently moved into a senior home community and are trying to adjust. --------- Pray for the Lord's anointing, empowering, and protection for Matt K., who goes witnessing for the Lord after work several evenings a week. -------- PRAISE REPORTS: Tania B's knee surgery last week was successful and, Praise the Lord, she is doing so much better now! ------- Maureen's son Eric is also doing much better, Praise God, and they expect his release from the hospital this week. Maureen so appreciates all the prayers and anticipates the Lord will bring His healing, comfort and peace to Eric. -------- Steve Hollis is now walking up and down his driveway using his walker as he continues to make wonderful progress, especially with improved mobility. He and wife Julie are praising God and are very grateful for the prayers for his continued recovery from Covid and the resulting coma and prolonged hospitalizations. -------- UPDATES: Please continue to pray for Rick J., who is grateful for the procedures which alleviate some of the discomfort he's experiencing with his failing liver condition. He asks prayer for the salvation of his two daughters. -------- Linda W. has begun her second major round of chemo to control the spread of cancer, and there are major, very difficult side effects. Linda and husband Jerry are walking by faith, knowing the LORD their God is with them, giving her strength and courage to keep on. -------- Let's continue lifting up Roseann B. before the Lord in prayer, for she has been through a most difficult and trying time this year with the passing of her beloved husband and now dealing with back problems.

"Mercy" has come to CompassCare for several appointments since the end of the summer. Each time she came, she said she planned to carry her pregnancy to term. She called the office this week and asked to speak to a nurse, saying she feels she needs a late-term surgical abortion. "I just can't have a baby right now," she said when her nurse asked what changed. She would not elaborate further on her circumstances. If Mercy were to get this abortion, it would be her second this year. Pray God intervenes in her heart and mind. Pray this preborn baby is saved from the horrors of late-term abortion. ------- "Kimmie" came for an appointment shortly after finding out she is pregnant. Her young age and lack of serious commitment to the father of the baby are her main concerns with continuing her pregnancy. After seeing her eight-week-old baby on the ultrasound screen, Kimmie said she was affected by hearing his heartbeat. Her nurse asked what is going on in her own heart and she said, "My heart says this is a person." When her nurse shared the gospel with her, she surrendered her life to Christ. She also scheduled a return appointment and allowed her nurse to pray for her. Pray Kimmie grows in her relationship with Christ and develops a deep conviction that her child is made in the image of God and worthy of protection. Pray this preborn baby continues to grow and thrive.

Caring Choices Pregnancy Help Center
"V" is a Mom who recently learned her child has a disability, and they are currently in an unsafe housing situation without the funds needed to move. Pray she will be able to get the help needed for her and her family. ------- "M" has chosen adoption for her child but has physical, mental and emotional health issues. Pray she has the support needed to continue to choose life for her unborn baby. -------- "D" has been abused her entire life, needs direction, and is wrestling with God and asking Him to reveal Himself. She remains tender-hearted but is hurting. May God move in her life and bring her healing and hope. ------- "T" was abortion minded but chose adoption and now she wants to parent. She will be returning to work soon and is struggling with what’s truly best for her baby. She would like prayers for clarity and support. ------ "R" lacks transportation and needs prayer to find the right job to provide well for her family. ------- In addition, we covet your prayers for several of our peer counselors in need of healing for broken/bruised foot, lingering Covid effects, a bad fall, back pain and a daughter with a heart condition. Pray for God’s healing touch and that He would restore them to good health.
