UPDATES: Marilou B. reports she was finally able to get out to get her urine tested, and she is now on an antibiotic (again) for an infection and her back is feeling better. PTL! However, she is again distressed and anxious about her living conditions (she believes she smells drugs), and needs prayer for the Lord's protection and peace. ------- My daughter-in-law Jennifer & son Kory, although "not 100% yet", are feeling and doing better, PTL!, and were able to go to the store and to church over the weekend. They appreciate your prayers on their behalf!

I have having severe back pain since Thanksgiving day. I have had several tests and have been to three different doctors. I am set up for an MRI Monday morning. I am asking for prayer that will give them an answer on how to treat me and to take the pain away. I know that I can trust the Lord and He will give answers.

Please pray for my brother-in-law’s father, Ron Senior! He is in the ICU in a hospital in Colorado after falling down and breaking a few ribs. He is incoherent and pulling out his IVs. The hospital is in lock down and he is not being allowed any visitors. On top of that, he is battling cancer which started in his bladder and has spread to his lungs and brain. Please pray for his salvation and that of his family! Thank you, Saints!

The board overseeing Alight Care Center in Troy, NY, unanimously voted for CompassCare to adopt their mission with the hope of replicating the abortion reduction results God has accomplished in Buffalo and Rochester. Please pray for God to continue building a team of mature Christian nurses to care for abortion-determined women, for the enthusiastic support of all pro-life Christians in this Capital Region of New York, for the provision of a medical office near the abortionists, and that God will clear the way to launch services on or before April 2022. Pray also that God would grant CompassCare favor in and amongst all the various sectors of society in the Capital Region, from media and medicine and from local government to local businesses. Thank you for praying as together we erase the need for abortion, one woman and baby at a time!

UPDATE on Isla McAlpin (1/6): As marathons (and roller coasters) go, we took a turn yesterday and have been struggling with much higher fevers since then. The team placed Isla on a third antibiotic to try to cover all potential bases. On a brighter note, her counts are improving, which means she is on the rebound from the last round of chemo. We’re praying that as they rise her body is able to fight off all of the other concerns. We’re in the thick of it today, so please pray with us:
-No more fevers
-Abscess/rash to clear miraculously
-Rest for her body and spirit
-Appetite (she hasn’t eaten real food since Saturday, they’ve had her on IV nutrition)
-Continued improvement in her counts
-PROTECTION over her body as these antibiotics work to clear her system
-NEGATIVE cultures, no additional infection in her bloodstream
-Peace and rest for family

UPDATE on Isla McAlpin (from CaringBridge): PRAISE GOD! Stomach Xray was clear; her colon is full, but that’s easily managed. No reason to suspect any complications at this point.

Pastor Tony
UPDATES from Pastor Tony: Linda Weckelman reports that her latest chemo treatment has been most difficult, having continual bouts of nausea and pain that has not let up. She takes great comfort in knowing her church family is praying for her. ------- Tom C. said his main obstacle to walking is the nerve damage he received to his feet/ankles as a result of recent spinal surgery. His neurosurgeon said it could be up to 12-16 months before he will get the feelings back in is feet. He recently obtained leg braces and with physical therapy, he can walk with assistance. He also said his health care providers are encouraged at his progress, praise the Lord!, and he appreciates all the prayers coming from the body of Christ. ------- Roseann B. said her chest/bronchial congestion has cleared up and she is praising the Lord for His faithfulness and goodness. Also, her physical therapy starts up soon so she is hopefull that will reduce the pain/pressure in her back. She thanks everyone for the prayers! ------- Michael Grabowski said he appreciates the prayers for his recovery and hopefully a miracle from the Lord will happen. He knows the Lord has a plan for him, and hopes to walk again. He is waiting on colostomy surgery that has been delayed since September. Let's continue to pray for Michael.
