UPDATE on Tom (E.R. Resource ️Center worker): Tom's surgery went well a few weeks ago and although the swollen node was cancerous, the doctor believes they were successful in removing it all. PTL! Tom is reportedly looking and doing well again, although his activities have been somewhat restricted for the time being. Thank you for praying!

UPDATES: Please continue to pray for Linda Weckelman as she waits for the team of oncologists to decide the next treatment steps for her cancer. She continues to steadfastly trust in and wait upon the LORD "who only doeth wondrous things." (Psalm 72:18). ------- Nancy M's painful pinched nerve is slowly getting better, but she is still unable to do her daily exercises that are required to keep her blood glucose level down. ------- Mike Grabowski's infected foot on his remaining leg doesn't seem to be improving with antibiotic treatment, and a staff shortage is resulting in a lack of proper medical attention. However Mike is steadfast, trusting in the grace and mercy of his Great Physician. ------- Roseann continues to request prayer regarding an upcoming rent increase as the tenants meet with the owner this month for discussions. She truly values and appreciates all the prayers for her this past year. ------- Antoinette P. also appreciates prayer for her health (currently weakened by a lingering "stomach flu") and housing situation, as she is looking for a suitable apartment in her budget range because her current rental facility was sold and she must be out by the end of May. She knows the Lord is faithful and has seen her through many difficulties in life, and will continue to shepherd her. ------- Bonnie C. requests prayer for protection for her great grandson (Maclaine), who is currently part of the US/NATO forces at the Poland/Ukraine boarder. Pray for peace in Ukraine.

Thanks so much, saints, for the prayers for Jack! All went well, and they think they got all the cancer. They had to do a skin graft as well, since they took so much off the back of his ear. So, he's all bandaged up, but doing well!!

PRAISE REPORT on Isla McAlpin (from CaringBridge 3/1): This past week has been a week of thanks—so many thanks. We are so humbled and overwhelmed by the news: All tests are back—Isla is CANCER FREE. What a journey it has been. We aren’t quite done, with one round of maintenance chemo to go, but she’s officially in remission. I’m so thankful for the gift of medicine. So thankful for our God who never turned His face from us. So thankful for the story He’s writing in our lives. We’ve been carried by you, friends. On days when I couldn’t imagine how we’d survive, your gifts, words, texts, calls, and prayers were our refuge. We are forever thankful for you.
Today, Isla is feeling good. We know she will “bottom out” from the most recent round (they call it maintenance but it’s still a fairly intense cadence of high dose chemo), but the end is in sight. We are anticipating starting her final round on March 16, but will know the exact date as we get close. Please continue to pray specifically:
-no complications as her counts drop
-no fevers
-no bleeding
-psychological healing and alleviation of fear (this applies to our whole family)
-that our house would be complete and we’d able to move SOON and be together as a family in our new space.
Thank you, sweet friends.
