"Jennie" is raising two children and is considering getting an abortion for the third time. She says her last abortion was a "bad experience" but she cannot imagine having another baby. She cited many reasons for wanting an abortion. Viability could not be confirmed during the ultrasound exam. Jennie admitted she is worried getting an abortion would have a negative effect on her relationship with the father of the baby. "Thinking about abortion messes with my emotions," she said. "I'm a spiritual person, God is my best friend," she told her nurse. She allowed her nurse to pray for her. Pray Jennie seeks true friendship with God through Christ and decides to carry her pregnancy to term. -------- "Donna" says she needs to get an abortion because she has no one to support her. Her relationship with the father of the baby was abusive and she recently left him. She and her toddler live with her mother, who has instructed her to "get rid of" this baby. When her nurse brought up God, Donna said she rejects religion due to "contradictory dogma." She said she needs to get an abortion soon because she is very busy. She groaned, saying she has already had two abortions. "Why does this have to be a woman's burden?" she lamented. Donna scheduled a follow-up appointment and allowed her nurse to pray for her. Pray she is open to God's intervention in her life and she is empowered to say "No" to abortion.

Please pray for salvation and peace for my Jewish neighbor Gay, who I've been witnessing to. She has asked for prayer for her dear friend Diane (a cancer survivor), who is having a biopsy on a spot on her liver, and for Gay's daughter Dara, who has surgery scheduled at the end of this month for uterine cancer. Both ladies live in other states, and Gay is very concerned for them. Pray for the Lord to work in all of their lives for His glory. Thank you.

Please pray for Tom S., for the Lord's guidance and provision for suitable employment. ------- UPDATES/PRAISE REPORTS: Mike Grabowski's foot infection is now responding to treatment and healing, PLT! However, Mike is asthmatic and has developed a cough and lung congestion, and asks prayer for those treatments to be effective also so that condition will improve. ------- Marilou B. is grateful for the prayers and is feeling much stronger and healthier since her pacemaker surgery, so she no longer feels it necessary to live in an assisted living facility. She does believe where she lives now is not a healthy environment for her, so she requested prayer for wisdom & guidance as she looks for another apartment. ------- Bonnie C. continues to be very concerned for the safety of her great grandson Maclaine and all the military personnel stationed in Poland near Ukraine, and asks for prayer for them, the Ukrainian refugees, and also for the Christian pastors/missionaries in Ukraine/Poland, that the "glorious gospel" to go forward and save souls. ------- Sharon B. reports she has experienced a slight improvement following the spinal injections she had last week, but is still not able to walk comfortably. She has a follow up appointment next Thursday with her surgeon, and she and husband John appreciate the prayers on their behalf and hope they will be able to return fellowship soon.

We are broken hearted right now. Our son-in-law Jay just found out he has esophageal cancer. He just gave his heart to the Lord yesterday. We are praying this does not change the way he is feeling. We will trust in the Lord to continue working in him. Please pray for him. Thank you all for your prayers. Linda and Gerry

UPDATE on 4 year old Isla McAlpin: We’ve spent the last week home recovering. Isla is feeling better each day as her counts come up and the chemo side effects fade. We’ve gotten a glimpse of normal life after cancer—and we’re so thankful. Even though we aren’t done yet, this time has been such a gift—a reminder that there is JOY in the morning. I don’t know why we’ve been spared, but I know that we will forever proclaim the goodness of God. God, who is good, all the time. God, who brings new life. God, who brings the depth of mercy we often cannot understand. His peace that passes understanding. Thank you for carrying us, friends. We are so humbled and thankful.
We will begin our LAST round of chemo on 3/23. It will be a five day inpatient round. And then, we recover. Whole restoration, body, spirit and mind. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6

She reports her Mother is finally able to return home to live with her husband after being many months in a nursing home, PTL! She is coming home Monday, but they learned today (Friday) that the aide service they thought they had set up for her cannot come until they receive some special paperwork from the doctor. Kathy requests prayer for favor regarding this paperwork so her Mom will be able to receive the needed care right away in her home. Thank you!

UPDATE: She reports her aunt Carol continues to make some progress but also have some setbacks. She is in and out of consciousness throughout the day, but is aware, although confused. She is able to breathe on her own without a ventilator, and can verbalize through a speaking valve in her trach tube for short periods. She still has very little physical movement, and still has one side of her skull cap removed, but is able to be moved out of the ICU. Please pray for her Lord to go before her to ensure proper placement for necessary care and rehab during her recovery.

PRAISE REPORT: He reports he had a benign tumor removed a year ago, but last Fall was diagnosed with another tumor. He sought prayer and was anointed with oil, and had no symptoms, so he refused surgery. Earlier this year he developed some bleeding and received a certified letter telling him he needed surgery, so he consented. He now has received written confirmation that when he had the bladder surgery recently, they could not find any tumor to be removed! Throughout this whole situation, he has been full of the joy of the LORD, witnessing and testifying to the reality and goodness of God to everyone around him. Only God Himself knows how many lives He has been able to touch through this situation, and to Him be all the glory!
