Please pray for my grandmother Marsha, who will be having a hysterectomy within the next month or so. They are going to be performing biopsies to see if she has cancer and to decide if she needs chemo and radiation. She and my grandfather, Mike, are both Christians, but they could really use prayer for peace of mind! Also pray for doctor’s wisdom and that my grandma would be pain free! Thanks so much!

UPDATES: Linda Weckelman's GI specialist has ordered an endoscopy procedure, scheduled for Thursday, May 5, as they are still trying to determine the cause of her ongoing pain and discomfort. Praying for wisdom and understanding from the Lord regarding Linda's medical condition and the next steps the Lord has designed for her. -------- Mike Grabowski reports he is able to sit up for longer periods with his leg prostheses, and he has begun standing {not walking} with the aid of a hydraulic lift. Michael says; "It’s painful and challenging, but with the LORD'S help, I will try my best." Please keep praying for the Lord's encouragement and healing touch upon Mike, and for His comfort and strength for wife Susan, whose father had passed away not long ago.

CompassCare
"Mona" came to CompassCare immediately after getting a positive result on a home pregnancy test. She is raising two children and doesn't feel ready to have another baby. The father of the baby lives in another city but wants to relocate to support her in carrying to term and parenting the child. Mona wishes she were already better situated to "provide a good home" for a baby and is considering abortion due to bad timing. She told her nurse she had an abortion in the past and vowed that she would never have one again. When discussing the gospel, she said she is a Christian. Please pray Mona's fear is transformed into confidence and this baby's life is spared from abortion. Pray she will seek God's will...and she would have courage to walk by faith. ------- "Lissy" (already has 2 children, & baby's father has a young child with another woman) returned for another appointment. She has not yet decided to carry to term. She was emotional and tearful throughout the appointment, appearing extremely conflicted about her decision. Pray for Lissy, who surrendered her life to Christ at her first appointment. Pray she lays hold of forgiveness for her previous abortion and receives God's strength and hope for carrying this pregnancy to term.
