Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! Dee is asking for prayer that she would be able to find child care for her 3 month old grandson for a few days per week. (She does not attend Koinonia, but she says that she listens regularly to WZXV and Pastor Ray's teachings.) Sheri P.'s son, Josh, is having brain surgery on August 5. We are asking for continuous prayer that God would give everyone discernment regarding Josh's surgery and care. Please pray that this surgery would cure his problem with seizures. Also pray for peace and for the family through this difficult time. A coworker is pregnant with twins and is not sure if she wants to get an abortion or not. Please pray for protection over this family and that souls will be saved! Thanks saints! Please pray for a friend who had a terrible stroke and is in the OR removing a blood clot in his brain. My uncle passed away early Sunday morning. To my knowledge, he never accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Please keep his family in prayer. Pray for their comfort and salvation. Thank you! I met a representative that works for the Veterans Crisis Line. I asked him how I can pray for him and he really needs prayer, he said. He is going through some medical challenges which have spurred on spiritual challenges. Please pray for him. His name is Bradley. He works for a hotline that talks to the most vulnerable Veterans who are suicidal or going through an extremely tough time. I ask that you also pray for his mind. For wisdom and guidance that he continues to come to the Lord who will give him rest! Thanks everyone! My Uncle Newell, who doesn't know the Lord, is in hospice for congestive heart failure. They say that he is in decline and may not have much time left. Please pray for salvation for him and his family. I don't see them much, but they are dear to me. Thank you! Bethany’s neighbor, Allison, lost her dad three weeks ago. She is married with two children and has been talking with Bethany, seeking something.
Pray that Bethany could comfort her and that Allison and her family would come visit Koinonia. Praise report. The fields are ripe for workers at the DePaul assisted living apartments on Brown and Main. They want more Daily Breads , Bibles, any clothing with scripture, Christian jewelry, and I gave away my last baseball hat with scripture on it. They desperately need a volunteer to come in Sundays for Bible study. Please keep praying. Pastor Tony was taken to RGH emergency Friday morning. In addition to health issues, he was weak and confused. We just found out this morning that he had a stroke and is having a CAT scan. Please keep him and Ann in your prayers!Dee
