Twenty four women were served at the three locations this week. One of them was "Anne", who had a chemical abortion last year and retained some of the pills in her medicine cabinet "just in case." When she found she was pregnant again, she took the remaining pills and experienced bleeding for a day. She had only taken one of the two medications necessary to terminate the pregnancy, so she came to CompassCare to see if she is still pregnant. The ultrasound exam revealed a living baby with a strong heartbeat. Anne wondered if there could be a reason her baby survived her abortion attempt. She was unsure if she would try again to abort or continue her pregnancy. Her nurse shared the gospel with her before she left. Pray Anne decides to continue her pregnancy and seek prenatal care immediately. Pray her heart is softened towards Christ during this time as well. -------- The way women are accessing abortion is changing, with a new online abortion business opening every week selling lethal chemical abortion drugs for cash. Seeing this shift coming, CompassCare added a telehealth service platform to serve women before they purchase these lethal drugs and have the ability to help her reverse the effects, saving the baby, should she change her mind after taking the first dose. For example, "Rachel", a single mom of 2, working full-time and overwhelmed with the idea of being pregnant again, lives in a state adjoining NY and contacted CompassCare asking for information on chemical abortion. She had an online telehealth appointment with a nurse and, when her nurse explained the gruesome process of a chemical abortion, Rachel began to cry, saying she had never imagined herself having an abortion and how she loves being a mom. Her nurse compassionately listened and counseled her to take time to process all she was learning and feeling. Before making a final decision about the outcome of her pregnancy, Rachel needed more information. So, while her nurse served Rachel, another member of the CompassCare team connected with one of CompassCare’s pregnancy center partners in her state for the necessary in-person diagnostic care. After agreeing to an appointment at her local pregnancy center to get the answers she needed, her nurse shared the Gospel with Rachel, and The Holy Spirit opened Rachel’s eyes to the beauty of what Jesus did for her on the cross. When invited into a relationship with Him, she said yes! A couple of days later, Rachel met with her nurse again via telehealth, saying she had a wonderful experience and was treated really well at CompassCare’s partner pregnancy center. Rachel is dealing with severe fatigue and nausea and her nurse was able to send her an anti-nausea care package in the mail that same day. Please pray that God will continue His good work in Rachel’s heart, protecting the new life within her.

UPDATE on Linda Weckelman: She reports having "a terrible reaction" just a few minutes after they had started her chemo drip yesterday, but numerous medical personnel responded immediately and "my Great Physician and Rock was there to tell them what to do." After the symptoms subsided and her vital signs were good, they let her go home. She has an appointment with her oncologist next Wednesday. Please continue to pray for God's healing, peace, and strength for Linda & husband Gerry.

Praise Reports/Updates: Roseann B. is rejoicing that her daughter has lately been in the word of God, seeking a closer walk with Jesus, and that she (Roseann) was able to lease a car at a very reasonable rate. PTL! ------- Bob B, is grateful that his wife Judy now has "care givers" come visit once or twice a week, freeing him up to run errands, etc., and that he now has a cane/walker to use whenever he needs the added support to walk. Please pray for God's continued blessings and provision for these elderly saints. ------- Ann Cristo has not yet had the ultrasound on the painful lump on her arm, and she continues to suffer with painful, swollen fingers and hands. Please pray for God's continued grace for her and for wisdom for her doctors. -------- Mike Grabowski is required to stand upright on his prosthetic leg before he can be “medically discharged" from his present facility, and for his VA benefits to start. Currently his upright PT has stopped, mainly because it's so "very, very painful" using their mechanical lift and that's now his only available option. He is in a very frustrating situation; however he knows and believes the "grace and peace of the Lord Jesus is over him". Pray for Michael & Susan and their family, as it's been two years since Michael has been home.

UPDATE on Marcia: She has a history of epilepsy and was found unconscious and has been in the hospital since last weekend. The reason her ankle surgery was postponed was because she had Covid a short time ago and the doctor wanted a longer waiting period afterwards. Now she seems to be having more epileptic seizures. Please pray for wisdom in getting her on the correct combination of medications to control the seizures. Also pray for Christian support and fellowship. She has no close family and it's been very difficult for her to attend church regularly because of physical problems, but she does watch online. Pray too that she can get the surgery she needs for her ankle in a timely manner. Thank you.

She is currently in a shelter. ------- "N" is in a high risk pregnancy. Please pray that her pregnancy will continue to be healthy. -------- Praise reports: A couple found a home to rent. Please pray for all the details to come together so they can move in and get settled before the baby comes. --------- "L" gave birth to a son. He is in the NICU, but doing well. Please pray that he will continue to thrive and come home soon.
