On May 31, the New York State Senate passed bill S470 to investigate what they are calling “limited service pregnancy centers” (those not providing abortions). The bill now heads to Gov. Kathy Hochul’s desk for signature, and she is expected to sign it. This bill weaponizes the power of government against groups whose only wrong is that they disagree with the political positions of the powerful. Pray that New York pregnancy centers are protected from this biased, politically motivated, and unjust investigation.

UPDATES from Pastor Tony: Linda Weckleman had bloodwork done Tuesday, sees her MD today, and has her next cancer treatment this Friday. Please continue to pray for the Lord's comfort, strength, and healing for her. She & husband Gerry greatly appreciate the prayer support as they continually choose to trust in the LORD. ------- Jose Mir said his recent total wrist fusion surgery was difficult, and his entire right arm /wrist are swollen and painful now. He & his wife also truly appreciate the prayers for him. -------- Mike Grabowski is praising the Lord because he recently was able to sit up in bed by himself. However, his leg prosthesis needs adjusting - unable to bend properly at the knee. He is hoping it will be repaired or replaced soon. Although Mike is experiencing pain, discouragement and setbacks, he continues trusting in the grace and mercy of the Lord.

UPDATE from Kathy T. on her Mom Mary: She is still in the Emergency Department, but is now in a private room and is doing better, PTL! They are awaiting lab results to know the best treatment for her infection and are evaluating her needs when she returns home, which we pray will be soon. Please continue to pray for her healing, and for my Dad. This has been hard on him too. Thank you!

Update on my brother, Bruce: He spent some time in the hospital and had a catheter put in his right lung to keep it drained and also had a biopsy done. There is a possibility of malignancy. He's got some pain from these procedures but it's been manageable - God is so good! Please continue to pray for Bruce's salvation, that his thoughts would be on where he'll spend eternity and he'd seek the Lord Jesus through this, and for healing. Thank you so much!

UPDATE: I just wanted to let the church know that my dad went home to glory Thursday morning. Thank you to all those who prayed for him and his family. We were so blessed by them. My dad longed to spend his last days at his home in Angelica, not in a hospital, and to have the opportunity to see each of his children, siblings, and grandchildren before he passed. By the grace of God he was able to have exactly that before peacefully passing to his next life, his eternal life. It was such an incredible blessing and I know that is the power of prayer and the goodness of God.

UPDATE on his sister Esther: She saw the doctor yesterday and was cleared to fly, so will be traveling tomorrow (Friday) to Toronto, then plans to return to India the following Friday (June 3). She requests prayer for continued healing and return of feeling to her face and for safe travels. Thank you.
