UPDATE: My grandmother Marsha will be having a full hysterectomy on July 13th and, although her last biopsies came back negative for cancer, they will be doing another biopsy to double check. Praise God that some of the other health issues that she’s been dealing with at this time have been healed. Please pray for quick healing and peace for my family! Many of my grandma’s sisters are coming to town so we can all help around the house and take care of any needs, so also pray for travel mercies for them. My grandpa’s name is Mike. Thanks so much!

Caring Choices Pregnancy Help Center

PRAISE REPORTS: Two abortion-vulnerable women came to our center for support. They did parenting classes, earned car seats, received some resources and material aid, and delivered healthy boys in June. Both plan to parent and to continue communicating with us for their needs. ------- A teen mom is now in a Christian home (her Dad died a year ago) where they are loving her and her baby girl. She has shown so much growth as a young mama and is truly embracing her role, but doesn't consider herself a Christian. Pray the Lord meets her where she is and she will open her heart to Him. -------- After more than 3 hours of testimonies and legal and spiritual wrestlings (and serious prayer) in a packed room, the Henrietta Town Board voted 3-2 to TURN DOWN Planned Parenthood's proposal to open a facility there. Praise God! But the battle is not over, the Executive Director of PP said, "We will be in Henrietta." Pray for the Henrietta Board members who voted Nea for a blessing from God's hand and protection from the enemy, to strength them to stand fast, and for those who voted for PP, pray for a touch of the Holy Spirit, a vision of life and their call as leaders is to serve and protect! ------- PRAYER NEEDS: Pray for the Lord's protection for "D" and her children as she feels they may be in danger and in need of different housing. She is also grieving the loss of her sister. ------- Pray for "T", who came for parenting classes as her two girls are now in foster care. Pray that these classes open up an opportunity for her to receive the spiritual counselling and healing she desperately needs. Pray that this situation would be the beginning of her surrendering her life and burdens to Jesus. Pray for wisdom, discernment and compassion for the counselors as we meet with her each week. ------- Finally, please pray for pregnancy centers across the nation, for the safety and protection of our buildings, our staff, our volunteers and our clients.

CompassCare

UPDATE/PRAYER NEEDS: A total of 20 patients were seen this week in the three regions (Buffalo, Rochester, Capital) served. Patients continue to be served in Buffalo while CompassCare repairs the damage done by the June 7 firebombing and rebuilds bigger to serve more women and save more babies. Please pray for favor with the Town of Amherst for building permits, access to building materials, and funds to cover the costs of the addition. Pray that all the patients seen this week would submit to Christ and have their babies, especially "Gwen", who tearfully told her nurse she would have her baby if the father would help her. She is concerned she cannot financially support a child and plans to get an abortion. She did not show up for her return appointment. Pray her fear is transformed into confidence and God gives Gwen a hopeful view of her future. ------- PRAISE: "Angie" requested an appointment for an ultrasound immediately in order to move forward with scheduling an abortion. The scheduler explained the medical services offered and gave her the first available appointment. When she came in, Angie told her nurse she cannot have a child right now because her living situation is not ideal and she has financial concerns. When she saw her active nine-week-old baby on the ultrasound screen, however, her heart was moved. She happily told her nurse she now plans to continue her pregnancy! Praise God for sparing the life of this child and for His mercy towards Angie in her time of need! Pray Angie and her baby are surrounded by support and she turns to Christ as her Lord and Savior.

UPDATES/PRAISE REPORTS: Linda's sister Mary Lou came home from the hospital yesterday (Tuesday) and is doing well. It is going to take a couple of months for her to get back to normal but it is great news that she is on the mend. ------- Linda had her allergy test for cisplatin (the next chemo that she will be on) this morning (Wed.) and it has been determined that she most likely will not have an allergic reaction to the chemo. The first infusion will be done in the hospital over a 7 or 8 hour period to be certain that there is no reaction, and if there is it can be easily handled there in the hospital. ------- Our son-in-law Jay continues to do well with his chemo and immunotherapy; it just takes him a little more time to recover from a treatment, but the treatment is working.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been praying for our family. It is such a great comfort knowing that the prayers of the faithful are going up to our great and wonderful Healer!

Please keep Mike Grabowski in prayer for strength/stamina to return to his body, that will enable physical therapy to start up again and eventually allow Mike the ability to stand upright and Lord willing, begin walking. Thank you all for your continued prayers.

CompassCare

From CompassCare: In the wake of the firebombing of CompassCare’s Buffalo office on June 7, CompassCare is going to take this opportunity to expand capacity to serve more women and save more babies. Patients continue to be served at an alternate secure location temporarily and the goal is to move back in to the CompassCare office on July 29. Please pray for the following critical needs:

• The Town of Amherst building permits to be issued quickly.

• Access to building materials of all kinds.

• Funds to cover the costs of the addition, ~$265,000

• Tradesmen and volunteers with a fighting spirit.

• Pray that the words of Nehemiah would be true of the people of God at CompassCare this summer, “So we built the wall and the whole wall was joined together...for the people had a mind to work” (Neh. 4:6). ------- Other prayer needs: "Joyce" told her nurse she is considering abortion because she can't possibly care for another child with her current work schedule. And she worries the physical toll pregnancy will take on her body will keep her from being a successful parent and employee. However, after seeing her baby on the ultrasound screen, she softened considerably, saying "I am probably going to keep the baby." Joyce said she has a lot to think about and discuss with the father of the baby and needs time to make a final decision. Pray she chooses to protect and nurture the life of their child and resists the temptation to abort. -------- Pray the 24 patients served in the 3 CompassCare locations this week will have their babies and submit to Christ. -------- Pray for the nurses and they serve the women and share the Gospel.

UPDATES: Linda's bloodwork on Monday showed the cancer markers had jumped WAY UP. We saw the oncologist yesterday. if the scan this Sunday shows that the tumors have gotten larger (as we suspect), then Linda will be going on a different chemo infusion. It is a very strong drug so the doctor is scheduling an allergic reaction test first. The first infusion will have to be done overnight in the hospital to make sure there are no adverse effects. If all goes well, the future infusions can be done at the infusion center. We are comfortable with the new plan going forward. ------- Her sister Mary Lou's white blood count has still not gone down even though she is on high doses of antibiotics. The doctors are considering doing an MRI because they are concerned about her pancreas. -------- Our son-in-law Jay is doing well, Praise God! His cancer markers have gone way down and his feeding tube

has been removed. Jay and our daughter Michele want to thank everyone for all the prayers. God hears the prayers of the faithful and responds, and it is comforting to know that people are praying for you. Doctors are good, but no one can heal like God can!
