UPDATE on Linda Weckelman: Because of the allergic reaction she had last week to the attempted chemo treatment, she is scheduled to go into the hospital tomorrow (Wednesday) for an 18 hour infusion which, hopefully, will prevent any problems. Please pray that Linda will not have an allergic reaction to the chemo and that the chemo works.

PRAISE REPORTS: Jan Slocum reports she & Jack are both feeling and doing well today and appreciated the prayers on their behalf. They plan to attend service this Sunday and praise the Lord for His goodness! ------- Marilou reports she is feeling good and the doctor tells her she has responded well to the antibiotics and anti-viral treatments, and she expects to be released from the hospital this afternoon, PTL! -------- Gerry Weckelman reports Linda's doctor appointment on Wednesday "went well" and they now plan to administer her chemo treatment over an 18 hour period to, hopefully, prevent any further allergic reactions. This will necessitate an overnight hospital stay. Her next treatment will be on Wednesday and they "are praying that Linda will not have an allergic reaction to the chemo and that the chemo works".

A total of 46 women were seen at the three regional locations this week. Pray they will all submit their lives to Christ and safely deliver their babies. Pray for the Lord's continued anointing upon the nurses who seek to minister to them and share the Gospel with them. ------- Please pray for "Grace", a high school student who came to CompassCare thinking abortion is her only option. She wanted to get an ultrasound to date her pregnancy and determine the type of abortion she can seek. She believed she was ten weeks along, but the ultrasound revealed she is halfway through her pregnancy at twenty weeks. Grace did not show any emotion when watching her baby move on the ultrasound screen. When asked what she is thinking, she said, "I am scared and overwhelmed." She went on to say the father of the baby wants her to keep the baby. She hasn't told her parents yet but she believes they would support her after the initial shock wore off. When her nurse shared the gospel, Grace was not interested. Although she continued to express a desire to get an abortion, she did make a return appointment for next week. Please pray Grace seeks support from her family and reflects on the truths shared with her at CompassCare. Pray this active preborn baby is spared from abortion.

UPDATE from Marilou B.: She reports feeling better and is being treated for the infection and for a rapid heart beat. They did not find any heart blockages, PTL! No word yet how long she'll be in the hospital, but she's in a private room and is getting good care. She appreciates the prayers on her behalf.
