I live in an apartment with my roommates, Merlin and Joëlla, who also attend Koinonia. Yesterday morning, a painter doing some repairs set off the sprinkler system in one of our bathrooms, and it completely flooded the apartment except for the other bedroom. There was an inch of water in our living room, kitchen and entry. Merlin’s room was completely soaked. But we are very thankful! Nothing was ruined, and they had another apartment available for us to move into. A good friend showed up right away and a few other followed. They spent their entire Thursday afternoon and evening helping us move upstairs to the new apartment, all while encouraging us and keeping us laughing. We are so thankful for all of their help and for the support from our apartment manager. God has been so good in providing for all of our needs. His faithfulness is abundant! I was supposed to meet with Fred and Wendy yesterday, but Wendy let me know on Tuesday that Fred would be leaving the hospital and starting home hospice Wednesday and asked to reschedule. I will now be going out to their home next Wednesday morning (March 19). Please continue to pray that Jesus would work in their hearts to receive Him as their Lord and Savior and also that the Lord would give me the words to say when I see them. Thank you! Thank you for all the prayers for my Dad. He was released from the hospital yesterday in Sarasota, Florida after 2 days of working to get his blood pressure down and regulate his a-fib. Though they don't have a direct cause for his sudden dangerous rise in blood pressure, they've made some adjustments to his meds and he's feeling much better. Praising God today for the care and love he's received, and trusting that the Lord's got him in the palm of His loving hand. Update on Jenna - she will be having a C-section scheduled Friday at 7:30 am . Prayers . My dad's blood pressure shot up yesterday and he's in the emergency room again down in Florida. Please pray the docs are able to figure out what's going on and can get him regulated. Thank you! Praise Report!
Nick and Karah (Tharp) Randolf's little girl, Lydia, was born yesterday. She was 8.14 lbs. and 20.5 inches long. Mom and baby are healthy and well. Thank you to everyone who was praying! My cousin's daughter, Jenna, now needs to stay in the hospital & is still having complications. Thankfully, they are going to take the baby out by Friday if not before. Please keep her, the baby, & her family in your prayers. Thank you, saints! Rosanne fell yesterday and hurt her knee so badly that she had to go to the hospital. Nothing is broken, but it is very swollen. Please pray for speedy healing and a full recovery. Thank you! My friend Wendy has gotten the news that her husband, Fred's cancer has spread to his lungs, liver, and bones. He probably has less than three months to live. Both are unsaved. Please pray that the Lord does a work in their lives and that they both come to a saving knowledge of our Great God and Savior. I will be visiting Wednesday. Also pray that the Lord gives me the words to say. Thank you for your prayers! On Monday, my Mom went home into the loving arms of her Savior who she was absolutely sold out for. Abi Cook
