Over the past couple of weeks we have seen the kids in the youth group increasing in their ability to distinguish good and evil (Heb 5:14). Pray that they continue to discern good from evil in their lives and that they are drawn to Godliness (Psalm 45:7).

Jan's brother passed away this morning in Texas. Because of our health issues, we will not be able to attend the funeral. No one in Jan's family is saved. Please pray for her other brother and family especially, as they are very anti Jesus.

Please be praying for Jack today. He had an A-fib attack during the night, which lasted longer than any he has had recently. Although his heart is now back in sinus rhythm, he is wiped out. Thanks for prayers!

The Weckelman's
Hi, I wanted to let you know how things have been going for Linda in the past six months. She has been on a few different chemo treatments that turned out to be either not effective or she was allergic to them. There is a brand new chemo that was recently approved by the FDA that has been effective against the exact type of cancer that Linda has. She had a treatment of that chemo on March 20th but had a bad allergic reaction to it and ended up being admitted to the hospital for a night, so she is not able to continue with that chemo. All of this has taken a real toll on her body and has left her very weak. The oncologist told us that the only options left are chemo’s that are not very effective and come with side effects that would diminish the quality of life that she has left (estimated at less than Six months) so Linda has made the decision to stop all treatments and medications for cancer. She has a palliative PA that is helping her control her pain and increase her strength. We saw Dr. Angel today and she agrees that Linda has made the right decision, she has been through more than most people and it is time to let go of this life and make the transition to being in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." (Revelation 21:4). Thank you for your prayers and please continue to pray that Linda can regain enough strength to enable her to make the best of the next few months and enjoy the company of our family, friends and brethren.

UPDATE: Kathy reports she is praising the Lord because her oxygen levels are rising and she is feeling better, so does not expect to need hospitalization. Chuck C., however, has also tested positive for COVID, so please continue to pray for full recovery for both of them. Thank you.
