Please pray for Vicky, a young girl who helps in our church nursery on Sundays. She had an exposure to gluten and has been feeling very yucky.

Please be praying for Sophia, one of the former youth leaders here at Koinonia! She is currently traveling back to the US from Nigeria, where she spent the summer and will be pursuing a PhD in Seattle. Pray she gets there safely, that she is able to get settled in and that she can find a good church community to get plugged into.

I am taking my 96 year old mother-in-law Rosemary to see a surgeon today. She had a melanoma removed from her arm in February and we noticed another spot, which has been diagnosed as metastatic melanoma. When the doctor examined her, he found a lump in a lymph node under her arm and they are fairly certain it has spread. Pray for wisdom over the doctors, that she will be able to have surgery soon and that it hasn’t spread any farther.
