"Yasmine" came to CompassCare because she doesn't feel there's anyway she can have a baby at this time. She has three grown children, is trying to finish her degree, is unemployed, and is thinking of ending her relationship with the father of the baby. Her previous pregnancies were medically difficult with significant health problems. Yasmine said her doctor told her not to get pregnant again. She told her nurse that she has a relationship with the Lord and knows He values the life growing inside her. She says she has prayed about this and will take a week to think about her decision some more. Please pray for Yasmine. Pray that she is convicted of her need to protect her baby's life. Pray that she returns next week.

UPDATE on father-in-law: He passed away during the night, but not before he repented and gave his life to the Lord! Praise God!! Please pray for the Lord's comfort for the family, especially for his daughter, who is unsaved and taking this very hard. Thank you so much for your prayers!

Please pray for my friend Mike who lives in Washington. He has CRPS. His wife Nikki told me he has been battling pneumonia at least 6 months. Medications have been ineffective. She believes in God and knows him. Mike has never told me about his walk with Jesus. His signs say he is a Christian. I thank Jesus for placing this couple in my husband and my life. They are a inspiration. Please pray for Mike's healing. Both need God’s strength and encouragement. She is his caregiver. Nikki sounds like she is in good spirits! I pray and thank God that she remains in such blessed spirits. I pray Psalms 91 over them. Thanks, prayer Warriors!

Valerie's and her son's surgeries are scheduled for 5:30 a.m. Tuesday March 5. Her's will take 8 hours. Matthew's will take 4 hours. She is expected to wake up on Wednesday and be in the hospital for 10 days. Matthew is expected to be in the hospital for 4 days. Please pray that all goes well for both of them and for the surgical staff. Thank you for your prayers.

Please pray for our friend Craig, who is only in his 30's but developed pneumonia and blood clots in his lungs, and is in critical condition in ICU. He was put in an induced coma and had to be given 2 heart pumps (the first one didn't work). Pray for God's mercy upon him and his salvation and physical healing. Thank you.

Leah feels overwhelmed with her life as a single mom and as the primary caretaker for her disabled child. She is early in her pregnancy and thinks that abortion is her only option. Contemplating an abortion has been difficult for her to stomach because "I know what God thinks about it." But she has already talked with her family and they are all in agreement for her to get an abortion. Leah set-up a return appointment for next week and promised to come for it. . . . . . . . . . . Kara told her nurse she never thought she'd choose to get an abortion again because her last experience with a surgical abortion was horrific. But she doesn't feel she has her life in order enough to have a baby. Kara isn't getting any support from her family or the father of the baby. Her pregnancy is too early to confirm and she will be coming back for another ultrasound in about a week. She let her nurse pray with her and asked for direction from God. Please pray for Leah and Kara this week. Pray that they both return for their appointments. Pray that Leah would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to protect her baby's life. Pray that Kara would not choose to get another abortion, and that this pregnancy becomes the turning point in her life towards a relationship with Christ.
