PRAISE REPORT: Just to let you know that I finally came home on Thursday. I will probably be stuck at home a couple more months as I mend and start walking a bit. The doctors think it will recover in time. Thankfully, I didn't need surgery. On behalf of Marilou, myself and Sarah, I would like to thank everyone for the cards, the food, helping us at home, hospital visits and especially the prayers. We love all you guys so much and consider you all family. It really moves me how much support you guys gave us.
Marilou and Sarah sent me a song while I was in the hospital to lift my spirits while I was there. Many a night a nurse would come in and find me crying and singing this song about our hope in Jesus Christ, while I was missing my family and my friends (and walking). Again, thank you all so much. We love you!

Please pray for our son in law Robert, who is in the hospital undergoing tests to find out what’s causing pain in his chest. He had a CT scan and it showed some nodules on his lung. Will be having tests today to rule out any heart issues.

Please pray for Victoria's hardened heart. She refuses to attend Church with her family, join the family for dinner, and attend marriage counseling.

FURTHER UPDATE: Riley has stopped seizing outwardly, but her brain is still having seizures so they are putting her in a medically induced coma. She is intubated and can't talk and has an IV and it's SO HARD to see her suffering the same way her sister did! Please keep praying!

UPDATE: "Amy" came back for another appointment still saying there is too much going on in her life for her to have a baby. She confided that the father of the baby has been going out with other women, she is working two part-time jobs, has a very small apartment that won't accommodate a child, she doesn't feel ready, and most of all she is ashamed. Amy told her nurse that she doesn't want to tell anyone she is pregnant because she feels they will judge her. Amy was surprised to see how much her child had grown in just a week and it gave her pause. She was happy to hear again how God cares for her situation and desires to be a part of her decision making. Her nurse encouraged her to pray this week for God's direction. She was also encouraged to reach out to one trusted person in her life to confide in. She agreed to make an appointment for next week and take some time to consider her options. Please continue to pray for Amy. Pray that the Holy Spirit would stir in her a love for her preborn child. Pray that those closest to her would support and care for her so that she will carry to term.

PRAISE REPORT: "A" came in Monday for her first parenting class. The Gospel was shared and she accepted Christ as her Savior! Pray that this new babe will grow in her faith, even as the child within her is growing.

Please pray for our daughter-in-law's father, Paul, who was just diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma, which we understand to be a fast moving cancer. Paul is saved and has a strong walk with the Lord, but this news is unexpected. Praying for God's healing hand upon Paul and peace for him and the family as they go through this. Thank you.

"Jennifer" came into CompassCare wanting an abortion. She has a toddler and her boyfriend has an even younger child. Jennifer gave no reason for wanting an abortion, except she just doesn't want to be pregnant. She had very little to say about the ultrasound besides remarking that it didn't change her mind at all. When presented with the gospel and invited to submit her life to Christ, Jennifer's response was "not now." Please pray that God would soften her heart. Pray she would rehear the words that were spoken to her as she considers her options this week. She seemed very unmoved but we serve the God who moves hearts!
