UPDATE on My friend Val (who was not able to have the liver transplant): She has decided not to do the heavier dose of chemo and radiation which was recommended by Mt Sinai hospital. She'll continue the maintenance dose. She has an appointment on April 1 at Sloan Cancer Center in NYC. They may have clinical trials available to her. She remains in good spirits and convinced she will beat the cancer. PRAYER REQUEST: Please play for miraculous healing, strength, and for her salvation. Pray for her sons strength, courage, and peace. She believes in God but I'm not sure of her salvation. Thank you.

CompassCare

CompassCare is now erasing the need for abortion in Buffalo! The goal is to cut Buffalo abortions by 50% in five years. Three Buffalo pregnancy centers (Northtown Pregnancy Center, Southtown Pregnancy Center, and Buffalo Pregnancy Care Center) unanimously determined to allow CompassCare to adopt their operations in order to replicate in Buffalo what God has done in Rochester. The various staff and board of directors for each of the four organizations began active consolidation of the Buffalo staff and operations as of Tuesday, March 19. Please keep the following on your prayer list: 1) A smooth transition with the consolidation of all the Buffalo organizations, 2) Three more RNs in Buffalo to join the team, 3) The enthusiastic support of all pro-life Christians in Buffalo, 4) The provision of a new location in the city near the abortionists, big enough to serve 25% of the women considering abortion any given month, 5) An effective and well-attended 2019 Pregnancy Center Fundraising Banquet in Buffalo on Thursday May 9th.

Praise and prayer request: Ten years ago tomorrow the 25th is when I was told I had a rare form of ovarian cancer stage 4 so I have been fighting this for ten years. BUT by the Grace of God I am still here Praising Him and Thanking Him for all He has done. He has been with me every step of the way. Thank You Jesus! I could not have done this without Him and the love and support of my family and friends especially Gerry who has been a huge and amazing support

to me and for all the prayers! I just want to thank you all for the prayers and also to Pastor Ray and Pastor Ben for your support. Now I have one more prayer request. I had my blood tests a couple days ago and one of my markers went way up, so I have to have a cat scan on the 27th. I know our great Physician will be there and the results will be His will, so what more could I ask for, I am in His hands. Thank You again Lord and my Koinonia family !

Rick

I'm thanking God for His provision and good care. I asked for a car because mine has issues of leaking oil in the radiator, and a friend is giving me a used car. Just praying for good employment and in need of a place to live very soon. I have some renovating skills.

Craig (young man with severe heart problem) remains on a heart pump with less than 20% of his heart currently functioning. He now has a tracheotomy so he can talk. Please continue to pray for his salvation and healing – for a new heart spiritually and physically. Thank you.

"Elena" is in her mid-twenties and found CompassCare online. She doesn't want to go to Planned Parenthood because of the people standing outside protesting. Elena began crying even before she came into the exam room. She told her nurse that the father of the baby is very supportive of her continuing the pregnancy but stated that she can't financially make it work. Elena would not stay for whole appointment since CompassCare wouldn't give her an abortion referral. She wasn't upset about it, she just wants to "get it done and behind me." Her nurse said she seemed very broken and hurting. Please pray for Elena. Pray that she is convinced of her need to protect her baby's life. Pray that she is unable to get an abortion appointment and would come back to CompassCare. --------- UPDATE: "Dianna" (mid-thirties, past abortions) came in for her return appointment and her pregnancy was confirmed. She was a bit shocked because she hasn't been having any pregnancy symptoms recently. She told her nurse that she believes in God, has put her faith in Him, and believes things happen for a reason. Dianna agrees that He has purposes even in the hard things that come into our lives. Please continue to pray for Dianna. The father of the baby is in jail and she wants nothing to do with him now or in the future. Please pray that God will show Himself to her in a profound way this week and that she will choose to protect her child, no matter how difficult her circumstances. Pray that she will return next week for another appointment.

Makhi UPDATE: Sent 3/21 from Amy (mom): Makhi had an important developmental doctor’s appointment Thursday at the Kirsch Center. The doctor believes he suffered a stroke as well, however, proof of this will not show up until his next MRI because it usually takes about 6 months after a stroke to show brain damage from that. He has microcephaly which means his brain has stopped growing…hoping it’s temporary and his brain will start growing again. He also has Hypotonia which is the step before Cerebal Palsy so they will continue to watch that, but hopefully with his daily therapies this can be beat. I’m so glad I signed him up and take him to therapies daily. Even the doctor stated he was PERFECT prior to the nurse mishandling of his tracheotomy event (15 minutes without oxygen to his brain). It remains a very hard pill to swallow (still choking on it) and not knowing what our future holds. I am so grateful for everything people have done for me and my family.

-----------------

From Steve: Makhi is almost 1 year old now. They remain looking for LPN's that are reliable and trustworthy. Prayers are very appreciated by the family. Thank You, Lord.
