Our granddaughter's roommate at college had a bad panic attack and suicidal thoughts; she is home right now under doctor's care. Please pray for her. Satan is working so hard on these kids these days to commit suicide. Please pray for our granddaughter too, as she is very worried about her. Thank you.

UPDATE on baby Makhi from Steve H.: Makhi continues to go through the daily visits to PT and OT. He has been doing well and smiles a lot!! He is a joy to Amy and Chris. Amy had his hand and foot imprint tattooed on her arm when he was born. She showed me a picture of his current foot and hand print next to the orginal, and he had grown so much!! Although he is only 10-11 lbs (1st birthday this week), he is a beautiful and handsome young man.

A praise report---the LPN schedule, which has been a struggle to find reliable people, has been filled!! Amy and Chris are very grateful for this. It means sleep!!! 🙂 They are very appreciative of the care and concern and prayers you have raised up on their behalf. They have mentioned some day in the spring a visit to Koinonia would be arranged. Please continue to pray for regeneration of brain cells. And, Lord, continue to have Your way in Makhi. Astound doctors, use this to move mountains in the hearts of many. We thank You so much for all that You have done with Amy and Chris and the care for them. Continue to fill them with peace and joy with one another in marriage and as mom and dad!

"A" came in for pregnancy test. She lives with her son, boyfriend and his father. She says she is a Christian and has just started going to church with her boyfriend. Pray that she will read the literature she took home and that God would open her eyes to truth. --------- "N" came in with her boyfriend and son to review STD test results and repeat pregnancy test. She has started a new job. She downloaded a Bible app and plans to read it on her bus ride. Pray that she would respond to the Spirit's promptings and grow in her relationship with Him. She is planning on taking toddler classes when things settle down with their new home and job. She asked for prayer for strength and endurance during this transition time when she only sees her son twice a week. -------- "R" has been coming in for counseling a couple times a week for the past few weeks. He rededicated his life to Christ in the first session and has been attending church each week. He is struggling in a few areas of life. Please pray for that calm and peace that passes all understanding and for a job. -------- "B" has taken on the awesome responsibility of parenting his daughter, as the mom is not interested in her child. "B" has been going to church with his mom but had never admitted to our Lord that he is a sinner and needs a Savior. That changed recently and he became a new creation in Christ! Pray he would return next week and the Holy Spirit would protect and nurture his step of faith. "J" came in with her cousin for material aid. She has just moved in with another family member but does not do anything to support herself or her two children. Please pray that she will return in a couple weeks to start parenting classes and that together we can help her take steps toward a deeper relationship with Christ and toward independence.

UPDATE (Sun.): Thank you for your prayers for my mom Ann. She’s back home following a three-hour iron infusion today. She’s still weak and they never did any GI tests to determine the cause, but she’s stable for now so they sent her home.

CompassCare

"Janet" came into CompassCare in tears because of a recent break-up. She and her boyfriend were actually trying to have a baby together, until she found out he is cheating on her and got another girl pregnant. Janet is heartbroken and feels alone, abandoned, and definitely doesn't want to face this pregnancy by herself. Her mother came to the appointment with her and thinks she should get an abortion. Janet seemed to soften somewhat by the end of her appointment but is still determined to abort. When discussing God's involvement in her life, she said submitting to His control sounded like a good idea...but she wasn't ready to do it just yet. She appreciated prayer and said she felt less alone by the end of her appointment. Please pray for Janet as she wrestles with what she should do. Pray that she submits her life, longings, and plans to the Lordship of Christ. Pray that she does not follow-through with her abortion plan. -------- Please pray for "Sarah", a young woman who struggles with depression and recently discovered she is pregnant. She originally went to Planned Parenthood in Greece and was redirected to the office in the city. Somehow Sarah ended up calling CompassCare instead. She came in last week for her initial appointment and this week for a return appointment. Sarah is determined to get an abortion but keeps running into obstacles. She has an appointment with her own OB/GYN next week and is not interested in coming back to CompassCare. Please pray for Sarah during these crucial days as her nurse continues to reach out to her. Pray that she is unable to get an abortion and comes back to CompassCare for support and encouragement.
