UPDATE: Our son in law Robert went to the doctor's office yesterday with severe pain in his chest. The doctor said the pain was caused by a previous medical problem that was acquired when he was in the military serving in Desert Storm. The disease is called Sarcoidosis. It is caused by chemicals that may have been inhaled while he was there. The doctor thinks that it's been dormant and now is once again causing problems. He put him on meds and has an appointment with a pulmonologist. Thanks for your prayers.

"Stella" has never been pregnant and is terrified she might be. She doesn't feel ready to have a child and has many financial concerns. Her pregnancy was confirmed and Stella immediately began crying. When presented with the Gospel, she earnestly surrendered her life to Jesus. Please pray for Stella, that she decides to protect her baby. Pray that her infant faith would grow and mature.

UPDATE on Karen R. (collapsed stomach): She has been hospitalized for several days again and had a feeding tube inserted directly into her intestines. She had been dehydrated, but has been improving and getting stronger, and will be discharged when they know that her intestines are functioning properly with the feedings. Please continue to pray for her healing. Thank you!

UPDATE: Riley is not having seizures anymore but has contacted pneumonia in the hospital! She also is paralyzed on her right side from her shoulder down to her hand! The hardest part is she can’t see! We don’t know if this is permanent or temporary. My heart hurts so much when I see her! Please continue praying! I appreciate all your love and prayers!

"Jasmine" came into CompassCare and told her nurse that she and her boyfriend have decided that they are not ready for a baby. She did admit to regretting a previous abortion but feels that she isn't ready to be a mom. Jasmine and her boyfriend haven't really talked about what it would be like to have a baby. However, after seeing their seven week old child on the ultrasound, they were both emotional and agreed to wait a week before making their decision. Please pray that Jasmine would have the courage to mother this child. Pray that they would both return next week resolved to protect and not destroy their baby. --------- "Susan" is a mother of two who recently discovered she is pregnant. She is feeling overwhelmed and doesn't think she can continue the pregnancy. Susan has no support from the father of the baby and feels quite alone in this. She attends a Bible believing church and tearfully responded when the gospel was presented to her. She prayed to submit her life to Christ and agreed she would take a week to think through her decision. Please pray for Susan as she considers her options. Pray that her faith would blossom and bear the sweet fruit of repentance and courage in her Father's love for her.

UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT: "Asia" returned last week after experiencing pain, cramping, and a lot of bleeding. After an ultrasound, it appeared there had been no growth since the previous exam and sadly it seemed the abortion pill had done its lethal work. Asia reluctantly made an appointment with her OB who wanted her to come in and complete the abortion. Her nurse suggested that she come in one more time for an ultrasound...just to be sure. Asia came in a few days later to confirm the loss of her baby, but it was discovered that the baby has survived! She and her boyfriend were overjoyed to see their baby's beating heart and Asia recognizes that this is nothing short of a miracle. Please pray for this little baby, that he will continue to grow and develop. Praise God for this miraculous turn of events and thank you for praying!

Update on prayer request for my uncle: It was determined he has pneumonia, which contributed to his weakened state. He is currently in a rehab facility to help get his strength back. My cousins are deciding between the option of around the clock home care or admission to an assisted living facility. Please pray for his healing and gaining strength back, and for wisdom in the decisions that have to be made.

Update on my sister: Surgery is this coming Thursday. While she is a little nervous about it she is looking forward to being in less constant pain. Please pray for her healing and recovery process as well as wisdom for the doctors. Thank you, saints!!
