"Kaylee" found out she is pregnant back in March while away at an out-of-state college where she's a junior. She's been getting prenatal care but now wants an abortion. Her mom convinced her to wait until school is over and come home to be checked out. Her ultrasound showed a 14 week old, healthy looking baby. Kaylee told her nurse she just wants to get rid of it, stating that it's not about the baby, it's about her and her future. She did make a return appointment for next week and quietly listened during the gospel presentation, then allowed her nurse to pray with her. Please pray for Kaylee this week as she goes home and considers her options. Pray that she comes back to CompassCare and that her heart is softened toward her preborn child. --------- UPDATE: "Allison" (3 children, history of difficult pregnancies) came back for her second appointment and is still unsure about what to do. She had another ultrasound and a healthy heartbeat was found. Allison still feels overwhelmed with things going on at home and is really looking for help. She said she will consider coming back for another appointment. Please continue to pray for Allison. Pray that the Lord would reveal Himself to her and that she would return to CompassCare for further support.

Please pray for a relative, Nicole, who was in a bad auto accident in Michigan and has multiple, serious injuries and is undergoing surgery this morning (Thurs.). Pray for wisdom, diligence, skill, and compassion for all the medical personnel tending to her, for the Lord's healing touch and peace upon her, and for His comfort, peace, and grace for her family. Thank you.

Could you please pray? I had to go off my chemo for awhile because of some other problems. I am back on it now but the side affects have started again and it is like starting all over again. I just read Isaiah 40:28-31 and I know He will give me strength through this again and I also know that prayer will help. Thank you all for your fellowship.

Two young men, "F" and "D", came in separately for STD test results, and both received some difficult news. They were each given spiritual counseling and presented with the gospel. When given the opportunity to accept Christ as Savior, "F" responded immediately, but "D" said he would think about it. Both agreed to return next week. Please pray the Lord would continue to reveal Himself to these men, and that they would each return for further counseling and conversation. -------- "N" is a single mom with a toddler, and is expecting her second child. We were able to help her out with diapers and clothing. Please pray for God’s blessing and provision for her growing family. Pray for good health during and after the pregnancy, and that she finds a church family to walk with her and encourage her in her faith.

"Eva" is moving out of town this week and no one but the father of the baby knows about her pregnancy. She is very early in her pregnancy and no heartbeat was discovered during the ultrasound. Eva is mostly concerned about whether this baby will get in the way of her new job. Her nurse encouraged her to tell her mom about the pregnancy before she leaves. She agreed to follow-up calls and a referral to a pregnancy center in the area she is moving to. Eva was not interested in hearing the gospel but allowed her nurse to pray for her. Please pray that Eva talks to her mom before she moves. Pray that she will think about all the information she received at CompassCare and decide to carry to term. ---------- UPDATES: Thank you for praying for "Kiley"! She has courageously decided to parent. The father of the baby wanted her to get an abortion but Kiley, after hearing her baby's heartbeat at CompassCare, knew she couldn't go through with it. She is attending the church her nurse connected her with and is making new friends there. Kiley said she's started praying regularly and is encouraged by the way the Lord is providing for her. Thank you for praying! ---------- "Layla" (high schooler; went to church w/grandmother when younger) came in for her second appointment. Her mom is currently in the hospital and Layla wants to wait to make a decision until she can share the news of her pregnancy with her. She told her nurse that when she was younger her mom said she would want to know if she ever faced an unplanned pregnancy because she would be able to help her. Layla took pictures of her baby and asked if she were to continue could she keep coming to CompassCare. She said she would make another appointment after she tells her mom. Please continue to pray for Layla. Pray that her mom encourages her to carry to term and that they both come in for an appointment at CompassCare.

I was in a car accident Fri afternoon by someone who ran a red light. No one else was with me. I am ok but our van is not. I am asking for prayer today as the insurance claims process is started. I know God protected me and have been strong in knowing He is in control - but today as all the nitty gritty gets rolling, I'm definitely feeling shaken by it all. Please pray for favor and a swift process so we have a vehicle back again.
