We had 5 walk-in’s at the Rochester center within 3 hours! So thankful for the all the volunteers that were present to minister to these divine appointments. "P" is taking care of her 3 grandchildren, including twin baby girls! She was so appreciative of the diapers, wipes, and clothing she received today. She loves the Lord and has a very close relationship with Him. Please pray for strength and provision for this grandma as she cares for these precious children. -------- "R" came in for material aid today. She asked for prayer for family relationships and her son's father, who is coming home in the next month. Also pray that she would hunger to know more of God. ------- "F" came in to confirm possible pregnancy. Please pray for her and "J" as they adjust to their unexpected parenthood. They will be returning for parenting classes. They need housing, and encouragement and support as they read God's word and seek a mutual church home. ----- "A" came for a pregnancy test. This will be her fourth child. She requested prayers for financial provision, for her husband's and children's responses to the news of her pregnancy, and for the health of the baby. Pray for a strengthening of their marriage, for her husband to get a job. We encouraged her to reconnect with her church family and to read the bible daily for wisdom and strength. ------- "J" is excited to be a dad! He accepted Jesus in prison and reads his bible. We are thankful that he wants to attend parenting classes and that he is starting a new job. Please pray for J’s spiritual growth, and that he will return to build relationship with us as he learns about being a great dad!

Recently, Cherise found out she is pregnant and immediately felt overwhelmed. As a single mother of two, she didn't think she could do this again. Although in a relationship with the father of this baby, she isn't confident that their relationship is strong enough to handle the addition of a baby. Cherise called CompassCare looking for an abortion and scheduled knowing she wouldn't receive one but wanting the important preliminary information regarding her pregnancy. She was quiet with her nurse at first but opened up a little bit about her feelings of being overwhelmed and unprepared for this great life change. She agreed to an ultrasound exam and was caught a bit off-guard by the picture of her health eight week old baby on the screen. After the exam, Cherise shook her head and told her nurse, "Now I just don't know what to do." Her nurse shared God's plan to give peace and hope when we surrender our lives to His control. "I really needed to hear this," Cherise exclaimed to her nurse and together they held hands, bowing their heads to humbly ask for God's merciful intervention. Gratefully, Cherise smiled, thanked her nurse, and agreed to take some time to process and to return for another appointment next week. Please pray for Cherise this week as she processes this life-altering decision. Pray for the father-of-the-baby, that he would step up and offer needed support to Cherise. Pray that she would grow in her love for God and seek His pleasure above all else.

Please keep my mother and my siblings in prayer. The nurses have told us that it appears mom may not be with us much longer. She hasn't eaten solid food in 2 months and has lost 30 pounds. They discovered 2 weeks ago that she has breast cancer that has spread into the lymph nodes. We are waiting for biopsy results, but she probably wouldn't be able to have surgery.

Please pray for my parents. My Dad has Parkinson's and has been hospitalized (in Buffalo) with pneumonia. We're going to have to put him in a Nursing Home because my Mom has a broken shoulder. Please pray that heals without needing surgery, which would mean a shoulder replacement. Pray for strength for me as well as I try to help and support them both. Thank you!

"H" came in for material aid for the baby she is expecting in September. Please pray for a healthy pregnancy and delivery and for patience in her daily life as she has 6 children at home. Pray that God would guide her and give her strength. -------- "T" is in need of prayer for her pregnancy and her daughter. It was discovered that she has a complication with her pregnancy (carrying twins) that will require bed rest and a low stress environment. To complicate matters, her teen daughter is in need of immediate spiritual and legal intervention. Please lift this family up in prayer for God's hand of protection, wisdom and guidance in their lives. ------- "S" came to us seeking parenting classes for her baby due in the fall. She desires to be a good mom and to walk closer with the Lord. Pray that the Lord would open up her heart to us and we would be able to equip and encourage her over the next several months. -------- Two sisters visited the clinic and are expecting babies later this year. They have a church background but are not currently attending church. They do occasionally send their older children with a neighbor to the church they grew up in. They both have experienced miscarriages and asked for prayers for healthy babies. We shared the Father's Love Letter with them and trust that the Lord will use the words to draw them into relationship with the Father.

"Maggie" came to CompassCare wanting an abortion. This pregnancy was not planned and she feels that it is not the right time for a baby as she is working and wants to finish college first. Maggie described her relationship with her mom as "rough" and said she will be very disappointed if she finds out about her daughter's pregnancy. Her boyfriend supports her decision to abort. Maggie is too early to confirm her pregnancy and was advised to wait and come back for another appointment. However, she is intent on getting an abortion and left without making a return appointment.
Please pray that God would change this young woman's heart. Pray that she would reconsider her decision and return to CompassCare for further help and support. ---------- UPDATES/PRAISE REPORTS: "Kaylee"'s mom contacted CompassCare and told the nurse that they needed help finding an OB. Her daughter (will be college senior) has decided to continue her pregnancy and is now about 16 weeks along. -------- "Eva" texted her nurse that she is doing well, has contacted a provider close to where she just moved, and is now excited to have her baby!

Makhi Update 6/13: Makhi remains in the hospital and the doctors do not have clarity for the high fever and soaring white cell count. They are waiting for cultures. The doctors have mentioned seizures may be the cause of symptoms he has shown but again unsure. This morning his fever was gone... a praise. Mom and dad have had little sleep and appreciate your continued prayers. Thank you so much.
