"Abi" is eight weeks pregnant and determined to have an abortion. "I've thought about it for a few weeks and believe this is best thing to do." Abi has a rambunctious four year old at home and feels overwhelmed, plus she's experiencing nausea, vomiting, and exhaustion. Please pray for Abi, that she would stop to consider the ramifications of her decision. Pray that she would courageously decide to carry to term. ---------- UPDATE: During a follow-up call, "Charity"'s nurse learned that she had a miscarriage recently. Please pray for comfort and healing for Charity as she grieves the loss of her baby.

UPDATE on Karen R. (collapsed stomach, severe wt loss) : She still has a stomach feeding tube, but is able to eat small amounts and has regained 7 lbs. PTL! She has an appointment with the GI specialist next week. Please continue to pray for her healing and recovery. Thank you!

"Kaylee" found out she is pregnant back in March while away at an out-of-state college where she's a junior. She's been getting prenatal care but now wants an abortion. Her mom convinced her to wait until school is over and come home to be checked out. Her ultrasound showed a 14 week old, healthy looking baby. Kaylee told her nurse she just wants to get rid of it, stating that it's not about the baby, it's about her and her future. She did make a return appointment for next week and quietly listened during the gospel presentation, then allowed her nurse to pray with her. Please pray for Kaylee this week as she goes home and considers her options. Pray that she comes back to CompassCare and that her heart is softened toward her preborn child. --------- UPDATE: "Allison" (3 children, history of difficult pregnancies) came back for her second appointment and is still unsure about what to do. She had another ultrasound and a healthy heartbeat was found. Allison still feels overwhelmed with things going on at home and is really looking for help. She said she will consider coming back for another appointment. Please continue to pray for Allison. Pray that the Lord would reveal Himself to her and that she would return to CompassCare for further support.

Please pray for a relative, Nicole, who was in a bad auto accident in Michigan and has multiple, serious injuries and is undergoing surgery this morning (Thurs.). Could you please pray? I had to go off my chemo for awhile because of some other problems. I am back on it now but the side affects have started again and it is like starting all over again. I just read Isaiah 40:28-31 and I know He will give me strength through this again and I also know that prayer will help. Thank you all for your fellowship.

Embracing Options
Two young men, "F" and "D", came in separately for STD test results, and both received some difficult news. They were each given spiritual counseling and presented with the gospel. When given the opportunity to accept Christ as Savior, "F" responded immediately, but "D" said he would think about it. Both agreed to return next week. Please pray the Lord would continue to reveal Himself to these men, and that they would each return for further counseling and conversation. -------- "N" is a single mom with a toddler, and is expecting her second child. We were able to help her out with diapers and clothing. Please pray for God’s blessing and provision for her growing family. Pray for good health during and after the pregnancy, and that she finds a church family to walk with her and encourage her in her faith.
