"Cybel" brought a friend with her who is encouraging her to abort. She stated she doesn't want any more kids, the father of the baby is in jail currently, and she does not want to tell her mom about her pregnancy. Cybel's ultrasound showed an active 12 week old baby and this really seemed to affect her, but afterwards she completely disengaged with her nurse, proceeding to just stare at her phone. Cybel did not allow her nurse to share the gospel with her but did make a return appointment for next week. Please pray that Cybel tells her mom about her pregnancy and returns with a softer heart towards her preborn child. -------- "Chloe" came to CompassCare about a week ago determined to abort, telling her nurse that this is not the right time for her to have a baby. With a history of abortion, she seemed to have little tension about getting another. Her pregnancy could not be confirmed and so she made another appointment and this week returned. She told her nurse that she and her boyfriend are still thinking about their decision. Chloe and her nurse did see a heartbeat on ultrasound together and Chloe said she is willing to return next week to discuss things further. Please pray that Chloe and her boyfriend will decide to protect their preborn child.

Prayers have been answered that my daughter's eyes have been opened to the abuse going on in her household. Please continue to pray, as her accusations have been made, but there is no proof of the abuse other than her and her family's witnessed testimony. Pray that a hedge of protection surround the children, and that the truth will prevail. Pray also for her protection, and that the children will remain in her protective care.

Please pray for my mom Jo. She was diagnosed with cancer. She needs a few more tests to see how big the growth is. She is deciding on whether to have the tests. Pray that my mom will have the tests done so the doctors can provide her with the proper treatment. Thank you.

UPDATE on Val: Val's plastic bile duct stents were replaced with expanding metal mesh. Five days later a very large bulge appeared on her abdomen near one of the incisions of the attempted liver transplant. She travels back to NYC tomorrow (Monday), to see the doctor and get imaging done. Please pray that this protrusion is not cancer, for wisdom for the doctors, travel mercies and peace and comfort for her. Thank you.

"Angelina" is in Rochester on a student visa while she learns English and then will start career training. She plans on aborting because a baby doesn't fit into her plans. Her boyfriend says he is ready for her to have a child but that it's ultimately her choice and he's giving her that freedom. Angelina was considering sharing the news with her mom whom she is very close with but has not yet. She feels she needs to get this abortion done quickly but is agreeable to coming back to CompassCare for another appointment as her pregnancy is too early to be confirmed. Angelina grew up going to church and listened closely as her nurse shared the Gospel. Please pray for Angelina this week as she goes home and thinks about her decision. Pray that she tells her mom and has a change of heart regarding her pregnancy. Pray that she returns next week.

"Stella" was in a relationship for a short time and then discovered she'd gotten an STD. Her boyfriend subsequently cut off all communication, accusing her of giving him the disease. Then she found out she is pregnant. Stella is devastated, as she is left to parent all by herself along with another daughter. Her ultrasound showed a six week old baby and Stella remarked, "It's heart is trying to beat just like mine is!" Throughout the rest of the appointment she referred to him as "my baby." Please pray that Stella would continue to connect with her child and take responsibility for him. She told her nurse that she would seriously consider adoption as she had an abortion years ago and still feels the repercussions of that decision. Stella says she prays to God but doesn't want to give up her current lifestyle. She did agree to return in a week for another ultrasound. ------- UPDATE: "Brenda" (has 6 children she's not parenting) returned for her second appointment and shared that she and the father of the baby talked things through and they don't want to abort just because of their tough circumstances. She plans on continuing her pregnancy and made another appointment for next week. Please continue to pray for her.
