UPDATE: Makhi is making strides and attends many types of therapy weekly. He remains light, 11 lbs. Praying he gains weight so they may consider a tracheotomy removal later this year. Mom and dad are challenged with nurses not showing up so they need to stay home and miss work. The family plans to attend the service in the park this Sunday at 10:30. Thank you for praying!

UPDATE: "Cybel" (doesn't want more kids; possible father in jail) returned for a second appointment, still pregnant but still undecided about the outcome of her pregnancy. Her sister came with her, and is encouraging Cybel to continue. They both asked questions about the baby's health, and engaged with the active, 13 week old baby on the ultrasound. Cybel is particularly concerned about who the father of the baby might be. While she was not open to hearing the gospel, Cybel does plan to return next week for another ultrasound. Please pray that over the next week God continues to soften her heart toward her child and toward His Son. Pray that she would return resolved to continue carrying her child regardless of who the father is.

Please pray for my Dad Gerry. He'd been having stomach pains and nausea for about a month and doctors thought it might be gall bladder, but now he is in a Geneva hospital for an MRI, and they found a blockage in his pancreas. He will be transferred to either Rochester or Syracuse for further treatment.

UPDATE: "Angelina" (here on student Visa; attended church as child) came back for her third appointment with her boyfriend in tow. They have not changed their minds about getting an abortion. Angelina is going home for a month and plans to get an abortion next week before she leaves. The pregnancy is still not able to be confirmed and both feel it's important to determine viability before getting an abortion, but feel pressured by this upcoming trip. Angelina did tell her aunt whom she lives with, and her aunt supports her decision to abort but thinks she should share the news with her mother. Please pray for Angelina. Pray that she tells her mother about her pregnancy and that she suspends her abortion appointment indefinitely.

"Destiny" is a young mom of a toddler and thinks she may be pregnant again. She was a CompassCare patient during her last pregnancy and decided to continue despite various challenges. Destiny was disappointed to learn that she is indeed pregnant again. She isn't sure that she wants to continue because the father is "very controlling" and she wants to return to school. Her mom was initially upset about her last pregnancy but eventually came around. Destiny is afraid to tell her about this pregnancy. Please pray that Destiny would value this child enough to not abort. Pray that she would have the courage to parent a second child and that her mom would be a source of support and encouragement. -------- "Corine" believes abortion is her only option because of who the father of the baby is. She just can't see herself in a long-term relationship with him. Corine admitted to her nurse that she does want more children...just not with him. She has shared her news with a couple of family members, one of whom was a previous CompassCare patient who continued her pregnancy. That family member referred Corine to CompassCare. Corine feels very overwhelmed and promised to take some time to think about her decision. Please pray for Corine as she goes home and considers her options. Pray that she returns intent on continuing.

Please pray for me! My life just seems so out of control lately! I miss my Lilly everyday and hardly ever see Riley! I’m so confused about so many things and just need Gods guidance! Financially it’s been so difficult and I’m working all the time. I just need a break from everything. Riley is doing better but still feel sad at how much she has lost!
