"P" is a precious mom of four that is expecting her fifth later this fall. She asked for prayers for spiritual guidance, (she feels defeated) and that she and her children will continue to have a roof over her head. We encouraged her to visit one of our Webster church's this weekend and gave her the Father's Love letter to remind her of how precious she is to our Father. . . . . . . ."H" called us today to let us know that she has a scheduled c-section for the beginning of September. We covet your prayers for a safe delivery, a healthy baby, and the Lord to continue to draw her back into fellowship with other believers for her spiritual growth.

"Sally" is a young, married immigrant with a baby at home and feels that she can't handle two young children. They don't have any family in the area to help and have no real community support. Upon seeing their 8-week-old baby on the ultrasound they admitted the decision is now more difficult. They both claim to be Christians and don't believe abortion is right. Sally agreed to wait a week and pray about their decision. Please pray that God would convict them of their need to protect their preborn child and provide them with a community to walk through this challenge. -------- UPDATE: "Jolene came back for her return appointment and agreed to another ultrasound. She hadn't anticipated seeing such a clear image of her 7-week-old baby and her little one's beating heart. Jolene's heart seemed to soften as she cooed and smiled, confessing to her nurse how much she really likes being a mom. Jolene agreed to take another week to prayerfully process this important decision and said she will return for another appointment. Please continue to pray for Jolene. Pray that her heart would continue to soften toward her preborn baby and that she would resolve to carry to term.

UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT: The surgery to remove my cancerous thyroid went really well, and I'm home now recovering. My voice was preserved, as were at least 3 out of 4 parathyroid glands. There was no apparent lymph node involvement. I did not have to stay at the hospital overnight. All of these are affirmative answers to prayer, for which I am so thankful. The Dr. is very pleased with how it all went. Thank you for your prayers.

Please pray for God's blessings and protection, strength and support for two women (and their children) who came in for material aid. ------- Pray for continued healing for "C" from past abortion, abuse, and rape. She is hopeful and encouraged by her faith in the Lord and would appreciate prayer for her continued relationship with Him. ------- Please pray for a new client who has an infant daughter, is parenting alone, is from out of town, and doesn't have much support here. Pray the Lord would encourage her to attend one of the churches she was referred to and that she find the Love of Christ to sustain her and meet her needs. ------- Please pray for an older new client who has 5 children. She shared some of her personal doctrinal beliefs and appears to have some misconceptions about the Bible and who Jesus is. Pray she would read the Bible for herself so she will know what it says and develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

"Jocelyn" is in her mid-teens and found out she is pregnant several weeks ago. She was not considering abortion because of her personal convictions but her boyfriend would like her to get one as he has a child already and is not sure he wants to support another one. Jocelyn lives with her aunt and is thankful for the safe and caring environment she's been raised in. She is very anxious about telling her aunt as she feels she will disappoint her greatly. Jocelyn was moved to tears as she saw her 10-week-old baby on the ultrasound screen. "It makes it so real. It makes me happy!" Please pray that Jocelyn tells her aunt about the pregnancy and is encouraged to carry to term by her. Especially pray that she would pursue a relationship with the Lord. -------- "Jaylee" came in with her sister hoping to get an abortion. She is in total shock having just taken a pregnancy test that morning. Jaylee has both medical and mental health issues that make her think that carrying to term is not an option. She also has the next steps of her life mapped out - finishing college and starting her career being her top priorities. Her sister is strongly advising her to abort. Jaylee cried throughout the appointment, upset about being in this position and having to make a decision. After her nurse shared the Gospel with her, she said she had never heard anything like it before and that she adheres to a form of Buddhism. She agreed to come back for another appointment. Please pray for Jaylee as she goes home and thinks about her decision. Pray that her conscience convicts her and she chooses to carry to term.
