UPDATE on Dawn P's Dad: Jerry (pancreatic cancer) has recently gained weight and his blood tests are improving, PTL! His physicians are considering Chemo treatments and may begin them as soon as September. Please pray for wisdom with his treatment and God's healing touch.

UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT: Frank reports that the health of his niece (Cherie) in Florida has improved - praise God! - and she is off the ventilator. They have also been able to reduce the size of her trach tube, allowing her breathing to improve. Please continue to pray for her complete healing. Thank you!

A good friend of ours, Dave Freundschuh, was diagnosed just a few months ago with ALS (Lou Gerigs disease) and has since been moved to the VA hospital in Canandaigua. He seems to have peace with it but please pray the Lord will take away any anxiety, pain or discomfort. He is a believer. Pray he doesn't suffer. He lost his wife just 1 1/2 years ago.

Embracing Options
From Embracing Options: Please pray for "T", who is in her 29th week of pregnancy and expecting twins! Pray the Lord would give her rest and comfort as the babies continue to grow rapidly, making it difficult for her to get the rest she needs. Pray the Lord would meet her financial needs as she can no longer work at this time. Most importantly, pray that T would find a church home in which to fellowship and grow in her faith. ------- "K" stopped by for material aid as her daughter is due in one month. The baby's father is trying to get immigration papers. Please pray for this process and for a continued healthy pregnancy and delivery, and strength as she continues at her physically demanding job.

UPDATE on John Pupparo: When they went to put in more stents last Friday pm, they realized he had more extensive blockage than they could handle, so they aborted that procedure and he is being transferred to RGH for bypass surgery within the next few days. Please continue to pray for the Lord's healing, protection, and peace for John, and wisdom and skill for the medical staff. Thank you!

Carmella had a traumatic experience with her last abortion and is concerned about how another one will affect her future reproductive health. But she just got out of an abusive relationship and does not want any connection with the father of the baby. Carmella saw her baby on the screen, heard his heartbeat, and became terribly upset. She asked further about how abortion effects a woman's health. She wants to avoid repeating her last experience but is definitely still planning on aborting.
Please pray for Carmella, that she will give herself time to fully consider her options. Pray that she will call out to the Lord for direction.----------Bailey came to her appointment looking harried and saying she is in a hurry because she leaves for a study abroad program in just a few days. She was shocked to learn that she really is pregnant and said the timing couldn't be more stressful. She doesn't feel ready to have a baby or be a mom. Her boyfriend is scared to death and her mom doesn't know what to think. Please pray for Bailey, that she would take to heart all the information she learned at CompassCare. Pray that she will put her plans on hold and do the right thing no matter what it costs her.
