Please pray for a healing for my husband, Robert. He is currently in the hospital with health issues. Please pray for guidance for the doctors trying to figure this out.

From CompassCare: "Julie" learned she is and feels overwhelmed at the prospect. She and her husband have an infant son at home and are conflicted about what to do. Though neither are opposed to having another child, this just doesn't seem to be a good time. After seeing the ultrasound, Julie tearfully admitted it made her feel sad. When gently asked why, she replied that the heartbeat reaffirmed she's carrying a life. Please pray that her baby's heartbeat would continue to resound in Julie's head and heart this week. Pray that their child will be protected by God's mighty hand and that this baby will be the catalyst for a spiritual transformation in both their lives. -------- "Terra" came to CompassCare, concerned about some serious health complications from her last pregnancy just a few months ago. She is pregnant again and afraid of a repeat of the same medical challenges. This fear is causing her to consider an abortion, even though she admitted to her nurse that she really doesn't really want to have one. Please pray that Terra will come to know the all-surpassing peace of God as a result of submitting her life to Him during her appointment. Pray that she will connect with the CompassCare recommended OB/GYN, who specializes in high-risk pregnancies. Pray that she will have the courage to continue her pregnancy, despite her fear.

She asks for prayer for healing from a chronic ulcerative condition, which has recently flared up, and wisdom for her doctor, whom she will see on Friday. She reports difficulty sleeping because of pain, and is concerned because her doctor wants to take her off a medication she has relied on for years.

Embracing Options
"N" is a father of two and was in need of diapers and wipes. He was very open to the Gospel message and was given some literature along with his material aid. Please pray that he responds to the Gospel message and to God’s call to him. -------- A couple who recently found out they are expecting a baby also came in for material aid. They are planning on being married sometime next year. During our time together, we shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Although they did not accept Jesus at this time they did take some literature and a Bible. They were very open to the Gospel and we pray God does His work in their hearts. Pray for a healthy pregnancy and that they will return for parenting classes and more items for baby.

UPDATE: "Coleen" (previous abortion, same boyfriend) came back for another ultrasound and even after hearing her baby's heartbeat is still firm in her decision to abort. After her exam she asked where she could go to get an abortion. Her nurse reminded her that CompassCare does not give abortion referrals and had an opportunity to share why. Please pray that Coleen will not go through with her plan to abort. Pray that God will intervene and that she will come back for support and encouragement.

My work colleague Rita, had a dear friend pass away over the weekend at age 48 of a sudden, unexpected heart attack. The following day, a small airplane crashed into her cousin's house having re-fueled and during takeoff killing her cousin and causing severe burns to his two daughters. Rita is broken hearted and asks, "How much more can I take Lord?" Please lift up Rita in prayer asking the Lord to pour out His grace upon her grieving heart at this time.

A friend of mine and his wife had been trying to get pregnant for a few years, and they are now praising the Lord for a new pregnancy with twins, but are going through a great deal of medical problems with Baby B. Baby A has most of the placenta and Baby B has a small amount, which is leading to not receiving enough nutrients. Bri (mother) is having a Laser procedure to save both boys by separating the placenta. This will give Baby B a separate placenta and a chance to actually flourish, but will create a risk to Baby A. They had an option to cut off Baby B and to make the entire pregnancy MUCH safer and Baby A would have over a 90 percent chance of ending the pregnancy strong, but they felt strongly led to give Baby B a chance at life. They are laying this entire situation at the feet of God, knowing that He is in control. They state: "Regardless of what happens...we will continue to profess the greatest of God. He's so good."
Please flood Heaven with prayers for the Filippelli boys and Bri.
