UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT on Pat D's brother: He reportedly has been opening his eyes and moving his toes; also, breathing more on his own. They were able to set him up to wash his hair & shave him. Praise God for these signs of recovery!! Please keep praying!

Please pray for me regarding my health and recovery so I can go back to work. I have been dealing with Pneumonia and how it has sapped my strength for 5 weeks now. The Pneumonia has cleared but the fatigue hasn't making it impossible to go back to work as I am a Master Carpenter which entails a great degree of hard strenuous work. Today I went to Urgent Care and now have Bronchitis and a bad sinus infection. My immune system is shot. I am taking the antibiotic I was prescribed before but the thinking is it should have been for TWO weeks not ONE. So, I humbly ask for your prayers that my strength will improve along with my health enough so I can go back to work 9/30/2019.

Embracing Options
"R" returned to our Webster center today. She is still brokenhearted yet shared the comfort she has when she reads the scriptures we gave her on His love for her. We were able to talk about how the Lord meets us in the isolation of our wilderness to reveal Himself to us in new ways. She has demonstrated much courage over the past two weeks with other situations in her life, we pray she will continue to have courage for her pregnancy. She is scheduled to come back again in two weeks for additional counseling.

My 10 month old niece Marion will have surgery in Buffalo this Wednesday. She has intestinal issues intermittently that cause her great pain. Overall she is a happy, secure and very busy baby girl. AND so beautiful-
After months of testing and multiple appointments with specialists, surgery is her best option.They plan to completely remove the ring shaped mass that has created this blockage in her tiny belly.
My brother and sister in-law do not have a personal relationship with Jesus. Please pray for salvation, healing, strength and wisdom as they face this difficult season together.

"Sandra" came to CompassCare wanting an abortion. She is divorced with two children and doesn't feel she can raise another one on her own as she works full-time and cares for her ailing mother. Also, her boyfriend would like her to get an abortion. Sandra cried as she saw her 7-week-old baby on the ultrasound and heard the heartbeat. After the ultrasound she remarked, "Regardless of what I do, I'm going to go through this alone." She doesn't want to talk to anyone because she feels it's completely her decision. When reminded that CompassCare doesn't perform or refer for abortions, Sandra said, "Okay. I need to go somewhere where I can get an abortion." Please pray that Sandra would reconsider her decision and courageously decide to have her baby. Pray that her boyfriend would step up and support her in raising their child. --------- "Felice" is a young college student who came to CompassCare saying she needed an abortion. She recently found out she is pregnant but said she is not ready to have a baby. Felice says she wants to have everything in place before becoming a mom. She doesn't want to tell her family because they will want her to continue the pregnancy and she wants to make her own decision. Upon seeing her 8-week-old baby on the ultrasound screen, Felice began crying. Her boyfriend was in the room for the ultrasound and said that he could see himself having a baby. Both were encouraged to discuss their situation with their families. They allowed their nurse to pray for them and agreed to take some time before making a final decision. Please pray that Felice would change her mind and decide to carry to term. Pray that their families would encourage them and support them through this pregnancy and beyond.

Embracing Options
Please pray for "W", who asked for prayer for strength as she is dealing with the loss of a child in June and her 14 month old is hyperactive and has behavioral issues. Please also pray that this precious woman and her children find a church home. Also, please pray for "A", with whom we were able to share the gospel on Monday. She is thinking it over and plans to meet together again to further discuss the gospel. She is also interested in our life skills and parenting classes. Please pray that the truth shared with her would not be stolen away. She has Christian and Muslim influences in her life.
