My wife and I just found out yesterday that she has cancerous cells in her breast. Next step MRI. She has two lumps; please pray that this is localized and can be taken care of quickly. Salt in the sacrifice, salt is good.

UPDATES/PRAISE REPORTS: M's wife Diane (blood clots in lungs) was in ICU 2 weeks ago, but now she's home and doing better, Praise the LORD! ----- Breanna (hospitalized last week with mono, jaundice) is also home now recovering. Please continue to pray for a full recovery for both ladies, which could take several more weeks for each of them. Thank you, Saints!

Update on Susan S’s mother Ann: Please pray for a miracle and for God’s mercy and grace for my parents in SC. They were told Thursday that she will not be going home, but to a nursing home and that she wasn’t going to make any more progress recovering from her stroke. This was after only 15 days of therapy at rehab center. She’s working hard, and was originally told she had six months to gain back whatever she was going to get back. This decision came just two days after an incident at the facility where my sister-in-law had to intercede because both my parents were being neglected by one of the CNAs. Please pray that this is not politically motivated by the facility and that my mother makes enough progress this coming week in all of her therapies to be able to stay at rehab as long as possible. Above all, may God be glorified somehow. Thank you, Saints.

UPDATES: Thank you for praying for "Felice" (young college student). She returned for her follow up appointment this week, but unfortunately an ultrasound revealed that the baby had not survived. Patients who express a desire to abort their baby often still struggle when a miscarriage occurs. Please pray with us for Felice to find hope and healing in Christ as she processes this loss. --------- The Lord has answered our prayers for "Jayden" (has young child, stressful job) and "Francine" (late teens, lives w/parents), both of whom wanted abortions but prayed about their situations. They have both found the courage to continue their pregnancies! Jayden told her nurse that God used CompassCare to help her decide to keep her child. All praise to the One who changes hearts and minds!

Please pray for my daughter-in-law Jennifer, who has been battling more than one recurring medical problem. She's finally gotten some answers this week, thank God, but pray that the prescribed treatments are effective in resolving the problems (without causing any others!) and that they don't return. "Mona" recently found out she is pregnant and doesn't want a baby right now. She is a senior in college and working full-time. When discussing abortion with her nurse she became tearful and acknowledged, "this [pregnancy] could be life changing." Although she is not in a relationship with the father of her baby, he said he would support her decision either way. Upon hearing the heartbeat of her 6-week-old baby on the ultrasound, she shed more tears and admitted, "this is hard." She was encouraged to take some time and talk with her family and Mona promised to return next week for another appointment. Please pray that Mona will have the courage to reconsider her initial abortion decision and determine to make an adoption plan or parent her baby. Pray that God would grant her peace and strength.
