UPDATE from Steve H. on Christine (heart attack on 11/8): She remains hospitalized, and her husband reported late Thursday: "After a day of really bad news a miracle is happening. Chris opened her eyes and smiled at us all. Not out of the woods yet, but this gives us great hope." Thank you for your prayers for the family. Christine loves Jesus but most of her family does not know Him yet. Praying her prayers are being answered by a gracious God. There is concern of brain damage. Please continue to pray.

UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT on Vishranti: Thank you for your prayers. The surgery was successful, PTL. She is doing better, and tomorrow she gets moved from ICU to a regular room to get her to stand and walk a little. If all goes well, she should be able to come home Saturday. Thank you and PTL!

I ask that you please pray that the Lord will guide me and give me direction on what I should do as I go into my 3rd month of unemployment. I have applied for several jobs and have had some interviews, but have no job offers at this point. Please pray that the Lord will lead me to the path and position that He wants. Thank you!

UPDATE from C4C: They viewed this trek as a seed-scattering expedition because the mountain valley in Nepal is spiritually desolate with no believers. They encountered two other Christian groups trekking there. Both helicoptered in to shorten their hikes, but, by God’s power, the C4C team walked around 95 miles in ten days over rugged terrain, making for weary legs and bodies, but trusting that gave them more opportunities for divine appointments. The doctors continued to treat the physically ill they encountered, and the team handed out more audio Bibles and prayed for the lost souls as they trekked back out of the Tsum valley. Tomorrow they will walk and take jeeps to return to Kathmandu. Please pray for the seeds they planted to go deep, take root, and bring forth much fruit for the Kingdom and Glory of God.

Israel is under fire. Over 300 rockets have been fired at Israelis since Tuesday morning, and more than 50 Israelis have been wounded as a result of these attacks. Please pray for the people of Israel and for the cessation of violence.

"Morgan" has several children and recently found out she is pregnant again. The father is denying that the baby is his and refuses to support her. Morgan feels she can't possibly support another child on her own. She is on the fence about getting an abortion, saying "it's my baby." She had an abortion as a young teen and remembers clearly the pain it causes. Morgan told her nurse that she has a personal relationship with God but doesn't go to church. Please pray that God would give Morgan the courage to have her child. Pray that she would return next week for another appointment and take advantage of the offer of a MotherCare connection.

Please lift my brother-in-law David in prayer. He went to emergency yesterday in pain and they did a CAT scan and found diverticulitis and a perforation through to the intestine. He’s in a lot of pain and getting high-powered antibiotics intravenously. He can’t have a thing in his system, not even water. A surgeon is coming in to talk to him today and hopefully surgery won’t be needed.

"Coleen" made her appointment at CompassCare the same day she found out she is pregnant. She described her circumstances as difficult right now because she has lost custody of her kids and is in a rocky spot with the father of this baby. She is feeling depressed and overwhelmed about her situation. When discussing her kids with her nurse, Coleen absolutely lit up and expressed her deep love for them. Coleen did say that she already called around for an abortion appointment but couldn't find a place that could take her quickly. Please pray for Coleen this week. Pray that she comes back for another appointment and takes advantage of the support offered to her. --------- "Jessie" shared with her nurse she is overwhelmed caring for her son, who has severe developmental issues. She has little support and is at the end of her rope. Jessie was grateful for a place that was free because she doesn't have any insurance. Her pregnancy is too early to confirm and her nurse shared how important it is to return for confirmation before making a decision. Jessie is afraid to tell anybody about it and agreed to return in a week to get another ultrasound. Please pray for Jessie, that she would return for a second appointment and determine to carry to term.
