Please pray for Kerri, the wife of my mom’s pastor, who has been suffering from a rare lung disease. Cleveland Clinic has determined that she needs a lung transplant and possibly a kidney transplant. They don’t have much time. Please pray for a miracle.

"Haven" came into CompassCare determined to get an abortion if her pregnancy test is positive. She has several children at home and can't see how she can possibly handle another. She is living with her mom currently and the father of this baby is living with a different woman. Haven does not want to be a single mom to another child. When discussing what an abortion entails, Haven became teary and shook her head. "How can I decide this one won't live and the others can?" Discussing adoption made Haven feel more hopeful and she agreed to take this week to think, before making a final decision. She also responded positively when she heard the Good News of God's love for her in Christ. She said she would like to surrender control of her life and this situation to Him. Please pray for Haven this week. Pray that she would feel the presence and peace only God can give her as she prays to Him. Pray she would return next week to feel the support Compass Care can give her.

Give thanks to the Lord for answered prayer in providing my daughter and her children with a safe zone from their abusive husband and father. Due to many years of abuse, there is much emotional turmoil to overcome especially for the little ones. Please continue to pray for their healing, and continued safety.

"Holly" sat down with her nurse and told her she wants an abortion. She shared that she's scared of being a mom and had an abortion in the past. But throughout the appointment, Holly kept going back and forth on aborting versus continuing. She has lots of support if she continues and feels a baby would give her purpose. When presented with the Gospel, Holly surrendered her life to Jesus and prayed for direction with her nurse. Please pray that Holly resolves to carry to term. Pray that the Gospel would take firm root in her soul and that she returns next week for another appointment.

Please pray for my missionary friend Brenda, who has had both hips replaced, but had developed a severe infection in one which had incapacitated her for months last year. Now she is being told she needs the other hip replaced again. Her heart and prayer is for her health and mobility to be restored so she can return to serving the Lord in the mission field.

Please pray for my 2 year old great-nephew Christopher. He has had episodes where he stops breathing and must be rushed to emergency. This happened again yesterday, but he had two episodes close together. He is being taken to John Hopkins to see a neurologist. He has had previous testing but they didn't find anything.

Yesterday my mother was admitted to Strong Hospital with a major stroke. She had surgery to remove the clot however she had been laying in her bed at the home for more than 3 hours without being discovered in this condition. We still don’t know the extent of the damage. Last night before leaving the hospital she had been woke up for testing. I witnessed her move her right arm across her body to reach for the nurse which was a wonderful sign I pray. Pray for her salvation and my entire side of the family.
