[We read] In the King James Bible, Ezekiel 22:30: "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."

O God, please help us and teach us to build a wall [of prayer] around the USA, Canada, Poland and Great Britain. Are you ready to stand in the gap, where God is the Helper and Teacher?

Please pray that Great Britain, Poland, the USA/Canada would overcome for: (The Acts 26.18).

* Poland, pray for freedom from dead religion to saving faith of Jesus Christ as the Saviour and the Lord by faith only,

* the Church in the USA & Canada & Great Britain – Pray for repentance and cleansing of the church - Matt. 3.12 "Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

* my family:

1. Stir up the hearts of my family for ministry for me, my wife Dorothy, our daughter Ann, and our sons Peter and Daniel - "..but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" Joshua 24.15

2. Pray for God's will, wisdom, discernment, revelation and recognition for me and my family; I ask God for Edmund’s work situation, God's direction for Edmund , Dorothy, Peter, Daniel and Ann (also God's protection over the company where she works),

3. God's order in my work. I ask God for great wisdom at my work. Blessings and the knowledge of Jesus Christ for my bosses. Thank God for the continuation of my work.

A co-worker of mine, who is a Christian, is going through marital issues with his wife. Please pray for the Lord to intervene and change hearts/minds/wills to bring both spouses back on speaking terms, and to go to a home church to be encouraged and uplifted! Let there be changes in work if have to; bring back a Godly structure in the home as there are step siblings. Please pray for mental well being to keep going! He works much as well as she for the benefit of the house. I ask for encouragement and Godly men & woman to come in their lives! Thank you for taking time to pray for this important matter!

Praise Report: Just nine months after partnering to adopt three pregnancy centers in Buffalo, the Church through CompassCare now has the team and facility in place to cut Buffalo abortions by 50% in 5 years. After purchasing a facility on 1230 Eggert Road on October 31, a team of donors and volunteers set to work readying the facility to serve 25% of all women considering abortion in Buffalo. The work was completed with beauty and excellence in 38 days. On December 7, CompassCare officially moved in to this fantastic medical facility. Two days later on Monday, December 9 CompassCare provided services to four women at-risk for abortion and one submitted her life to Christ! Praise God for His provision, not the least of which was rallying His people to action. The unity, focus, and strength of the team is reminiscent of when Israel was led to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem, “So we built the wall and the whole wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work” (Nehemiah 4:6). Similarly our “wall” of cutting Buffalo abortions by 50% in 5 years has been built to half its height, as we now have the tools to accomplish that goal. May the work of saving lives and serving women continue apace, growing day-by-day until abortion, not children, are unwanted.

UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT: Thank you for your prayers for "Calli" (reversed chemical abortion attempt). She has had several setbacks since her last appointment but is still planning on continuing her pregnancy and excited about the prospect of being a mom. She surrendered her life to Christ at her last appointment but hasn't connected with a church. She is agreeable to continued contact and took her nurse's recommendation for some churches in her area. Thank you for praying!

"Selena" (20 wks along, overwhelmed) returned for her second appointment and received another ultrasound that revealed a little girl. Selena admitted that she is still seriously considering abortion and found an abortionist that would do a surgical abortion. She feels conflicted and stressed about the pregnancy but said she likes the nurses at CompassCare and wants to come back again next week to talk things through some more. She remarked when leaving, "I didn't think I would really like this place but you all are so kind and willing to take the time to listen and help me think things through." Please pray for Selena this week as she continues to wrestle with her decision. Pray that she returns to CompassCare and determines to continue her pregnancy.

Our family needs urgent prayer. My son is engaged to Tonya Knapp, who was recently baptized. She has 5 children and 3 are dying from a rare disease. Alex who is 15 has been in and out of intensive care for over a week. Everyone involved is stressed and tired. The best specialists are baffled. Today he went into cardiac arrest. His heart stopped and they had to use the paddles twice. My son and Tonya are beside themselves. Right now his heart rate is well over 200 bpm. The heart is tiring and they can't get it to go down. Two days ago his stomach was bleeding internally. I don't even know what to do but pray. God's word says there is power in prayer and I am humbly asking for prayer for this young boy Alex and for our family....especially his mom Tonya and my son Patrick. They need God's strength and God's super natural peace to get through this. Thank you so much and God bless you for your prayers that we need.

I discovered last night that last January, a conversation through an on-line ministry I am involved in was held with a girl that was being held captive for sex trafficking. This girl corresponded with a volunteer and eventually surrendered her life to Christ. She was silent for about a month and then came back on-line to say that she had been praying with the other girls being held captive with her. Some had started going through the on-line bible study with her! This girl was rescued through the ministry’s outreach not long after this and eventually all 49 girls were rescued! Praise God! 22 of them are going now through the on-line bible study. However, it was recently revealed that some of these girls, who have been emotionally devastated, have made a pact to commit suicide together on January 1st. Please pray for all 49 of these girls, but most importantly for those who don’t feel life is worth living and plan to end theirs. Pray that those involved in the rescue would now be able to rescue them from this depression and worthlessness that they are feeling and show them that God loves them and has a plan for them. What a blessing this ministry is, rescuing not only those lost in sin but also those in such dangerous situations. Thank you.

"Jolynne" told her nurse that she believes abortion is her only option. She does not feel ready for another child with a young toddler at home, is not in a good living situation, and lacks family support. Jolynne showed no emotion during the appointment but said she has a relationship with God and goes to church regularly. She allowed her nurse to pray for her and her decision. Jolynne's pregnancy is too early to confirm and she was encouraged to come back next week for another appointment. Please pray that Jolynne returns for her appointment. Pray that she seeks God for direction for her situation. -------- "Janice" is in her early teens and recently found out she is pregnant. She is seriously considering getting an abortion because she can't imagine having a baby right now. Her boyfriend is also young and says he's not ready for a child. They haven't told anyone about the pregnancy yet. Janice was surprised during the ultrasound to learn that she is nine weeks pregnant. She and her boyfriend sat with their heads down, not engaging, when their nurse reviewed information on what abortion entails. They were encouraged to discuss their situation with their parents and set-up another appointment for next week. Please pray that Janice and her boyfriend will have the courage to disclose their situation to their parents. Pray that they would take time to consider the seriousness of this decision and that they would choose to protect the life of their baby.
