John was admitted into the hospital yesterday with pneumonia. Please pray for God's guidance over the doctors and that they will attend to John's care with Godly wisdom. Thank you.

For those of us at Koinonia fellowship who knew and loved Theresa Kotlowski, she went home to be with Jesus Friday morning. She was a wonderful sister in Christ who loved others and their needs more then her own.

Please pray for Shari as she is considering getting another abortion, having had two in the past. She confessed to her nurse that she's feeling pressure on all sides to abort again but is ashamed that she keeps choosing abortion, especially since she has always longed to be a mother. But Shari believes it's the wrong time to have a baby, as she's finishing up school and wants to begin a career. She did express concern that she may be permanently hurting her body by having so many abortions. Her pregnancy is too early to confirm, so Shari agreed to take some time to consider all her options. She plans to return in a week for another ultrasound. Please pray for Shari this week. Pray that she would realize her need for a Savior and come back to CompassCare, intent on carrying to term.

My brother David asks prayer for his friend Tom Gunter in N.C., who is hospitalized with congestive heart failure and facing heart surgery. Pray for Tom's physical and spiritual needs (salvation unknown), and for my brother to see God's hand in the situation and praise Him again. Thank you!

I met a young lady who was a waitress in training named Chyna. She just got released from a Foster Home recently after her dad died from an overdose. She told me her dad moved her over 40 times. Her struggles were in her eyes, but she had a smile and communicated hope. Please pray for her. Jesus, protect her, open her eyes and ears so she can find YOU. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope!!"

Praise Report: Ann Harper reports that the first four Clinic days have been a blessing with over 200 poor & needy individuals each day have come and received free medical/dental services along with health education in order to sustain their health needs. There is a special women's health conference on Saturday. How wonderful to know that many have accepted the invitation to receive prayer for their health and spiritual needs. Let's continue to pray for the pastors in the Clinic prayer room who share the life changing gospel to all who come there way. Please keep all clinic activities in prayer and for the medical team to finish well. Thank you all for praying!

Charlotte returned for follow-up appointment and told her nurse that she and the father of the baby are agreed that abortion is their best option. She continues to drink alcohol daily and knows that it is likely to have adverse affects on her child. Her pregnancy is still too early to confirm and so Charlotte agreed to return next week for another ultrasound. She allowed her nurse to pray with her again. Please pray that Charlotte would courageously determine to continue her pregnancy and that her fear would be transformed into faith. Pray also that God would help her overcome her alcohol addiction.

UPDATE on my friend Valerie (bile duct cancer). She has been in and out of the hospital for over a month with very high fevers and internal bleeding. On December 28 she was airlifted (again) from the E.R. in Traverse City Michigan to Henry Ford hospital in Detroit. There is a lingering culture in her blood that requires her to be in a quarantined area. She's also in a lot of pain due to ascites (fluid build up in the abdomen because of failing liver). Her abdomen is quite bloated. She remains optimistic. They will know more this coming week. Please pray for healing, no more fevers, no more internal bleeding, strength, and elimination of pain. She believes in God and appreciates all the prayers. Also pray for strength, peace and comfort for her sons Matthew and Mitchell. Thank you.
