Yesterday my mother was admitted to Strong Hospital with a major stroke. She had surgery to remove the clot however she had been laying in her bed at the home for more than 3 hours without being discovered in this condition. We still don’t know the extent of the damage. Last night before leaving the hospital she had been woke up for testing. I witnessed her move her right arm across her body to reach for the nurse which was a wonderful sign I pray. Pray for her salvation and my entire side of the family.

CompassCare

"Kristen" came to CompassCare saying she needed to get an abortion as soon as possible. She has 4+ kids and is caring for her elderly mother. There is "no way I can handle another child." Her husband came with her and is supportive of whatever she wants to do. She is too early to confirm a viable pregnancy and Kristen agreed to return for another ultrasound next week. Kristen was not interested in hearing about the Gospel but did thank her nurse for the help. Please pray that she would reconsider her decision this week. Pray that she and her husband decide to carry to term. --------- UPDATE: "Asia"'s nurse called her to inquire about her pregnancy. Asia was an abortion pill reversal patient CompassCare served back in April of 2019. She excitedly told her nurse that she had a baby girl in December and that everything went smoothly and her daughter is perfectly healthy. Asia is over the moon with her baby and thankful for all CompassCare did to help save her from a chemical abortion. Thank you for praying!

UPDATES: Terry has developed a couple complications (itchy rash, extensive swelling) following her hip surgery last week, and is now on an antibiotic and other medications for them. Kevin, meanwhile, has been called back to the hospital three days this week for more blood work and scans as they continue to monitor the damage done to his kidneys from the medication he was given two weeks ago. He's worn out, and continues to have the upper torso pain that had sent him to seek treatment in the first place; cause still uncertain. Please continue to pray for complete recovery and healing for both Terry and Kevin. We all very much appreciate your prayers!

Don & Ava

Please keep 2 family members in prayer through this weekend as they perform musically in different competitions venues. Our grand daughter, Kate, almost 18 & nephew Dylan, 20. They love, honor & serve the Lord on a regular basis with the musical gifts & talents given to them. This weekend, they individually have the opportunity to shine in the secular music world while setting out to honor the Lord & bring Him along with them as they compete.

Kate is performing voice/choir/chorus in Pennsylvania at the stage level & hopes to go to regionals. Dylan is performing in NYC with his Eastman school of music jazz ensemble at Lincoln Center.

Please pray for "B", who is raising her 5 grandchildren and came in for material aid. She has a relationship with God and says her faith gives her strength. ------- "K" came to the center for an STD test, as she found out that boyfriend of 5 years has not been faithful, and she was relieved to find out that she was not pregnant. She is a believer and needs prayer for peace, comfort, and strength as she decides whether she will stay in this relationship or not. ------- "M" came in tears, as she was hurt in a physical altercation. She filed a police report and now has an order of protection against the abuser, but she was looking for a way to get to the hospital with her daughter to get treatment, and we were able to give her bus passes. Please pray for safety for her and her daughter and that she would follow through with her appointment at Willow. ------- "J" and "D" came to pick up some gifts. Their twins are due the end of February, but the couple is not able to continue with parenting classes at this time due to the high risk pregnancy. Please pray for a healthy pregnancy, labor and delivery, and that the twins would be born healthy. Praise God that the family situation at home is calmer.
