Please pray for "B", who is raising her 5 grandchildren and came in for material aid. She has a relationship with God and says her faith gives her strength. ------- "K" came to the center for an STD test, as she found out that boyfriend of 5 years has not been faithful, and she was relieved to find out that she was not pregnant. She is a believer and needs prayer for peace, comfort, and strength as she decides whether she will stay in this relationship or not. ------- "M" came in tears, as she was hurt in a physical altercation. She filed a police report and now has an order of protection against the abuser, but she was looking for a way to get to the hospital with her daughter to get treatment, and we were able to give her bus passes. Please pray for safety for her and her daughter and that she would follow through with her appointment at Willow. ------- "J" and "D" came to pick up some gifts. Their twins are due the end of February, but the couple is not able to continue with parenting classes at this time due to the high risk pregnancy. Please pray for a healthy pregnancy, labor and delivery, and that the twins would be born healthy. Praise God that the family situation at home is calmer.

From Embracing Options: "J" and "Z" welcomed their daughter right before the holidays. Prayer requests for health (their daughter has been having some issues with jaundice) and finances - that the Lord would provide for Z to stay home longer. Pray for them to draw near to the Lord. ------- "R" is due to have her baby in the next week. We are praying that she will reach out to a family member so she is not alone after the delivery. We are trusting that the words we shared over the past months will not return void - that the Lord will draw her to Himself. ------- "L" is setting goals for her future now that she has had her son. We are praying for an opportunity to share about the One who wants to direct her steps. -------- We are starting parenting class with a new mom this week and we pray that the Lord would go before our time together preparing her heart to hear about our Lord's love for her.

For those of us at Koinonia fellowship who knew and loved Theresa Kotlowski, she went home to be with Jesus Friday morning. She was a wonderful sister in Christ who loved others and their needs more then her own.

Please pray for Shari as she is considering getting another abortion, having had two in the past. She confessed to her nurse that she's feeling pressure on all sides to abort again but is ashamed that she keeps choosing abortion, especially since she has always longed to be a mother. But Shari believes it's the wrong time to have a baby, as she's finishing up school and wants to begin a career. She did express concern that she may be permanently hurting her body by having so many abortions. Her pregnancy is too early to confirm, so Shari agreed to take some time to consider all her options. She plans to return in a week for another ultrasound. Please pray for Shari this week. Pray that she would realize her need for a Savior and come back to CompassCare, intent on carrying to term.

My brother David asks prayer for his friend Tom Gunter in N.C., who is hospitalized with congestive heart failure and facing heart surgery. Pray for Tom's physical and spiritual needs (salvation unknown), and for my brother to see God's hand in the situation and praise Him again. Thank you!
