"Morgan" is a young mom with a toddler at home. She felt sick for a couple of days and then a pregnancy test confirmed she is pregnant. She feels confused about what to do. Morgan was very sick with her last pregnancy, had a difficult labor, and doesn't want to go through that again. Her boyfriend wants her to continue her pregnancy, but they have only been together for a short time and she's not sure she wants a child with him yet. Morgan's pregnancy is too early to confirm and her nurse advised her to take some time to consider her decision. She acknowledged that every thing happens for a reason and that "God has a plan." Please pray that Morgan calls out to God for the the courage and strength to continue her pregnancy. Pray that she would come back to CompassCare for another appointment. --------- When "Hailey" came to CompassCare, abortion was the only option on her mind and she has an appointment at Planned Parenthood for later this week. Hailey told her nurse she is not ready for another baby. She is too early in her pregnancy to confirm viability and was relieved when she learned that. Hailey shared that she is not sure who the father of the baby is and doesn't want to deal with the drama of that potential situation nor how she feels physically when pregnant. She agreed to follow-up calls but declined a return appointment. Please pray that Hailey's heart is softened toward her preborn child, and pray she returns to CompassCare for further help and support.

Please pray for the LORD's comfort and healing touch upon the Salvaggio family, who have been ill. Also, please continue to pray for Linda Weckelman, who has been in and out of the hospital due to a severe reaction to her chemo treatments.

Asking for prayer for my dad Fred Migliore. He’s currently in RGH suffering from congestive heart failure as well as compromised kidney function. He wants to come home but he definitely is not strong enough to leave the hospital at this point. Praying for the Lord to heal him up strong enough so that he could come home. If it’s time for the Lord to take him home then we pray He does that while Dad’s at home comfortable, not in the hospital, and we also ask in Jesus name for peace for my mother and the rest of the family. Thank you.

PRAISE REPORT: Pastor Ray's flights were on time and he arrived home safe and sound yesterday, Praise the Lord! He reported having a very "sweet" and fruitful time at the Pastors' Conference, visiting pastors in other areas of India, and teaching the students at our Pune college. He remained healthy and strong, and thanks everyone for all the prayers on his behalf.

Because of the extreme growth and significant opposition CompassCare is experiencing, your prayers are essential. Please pray regarding the following:
1) The CompassCare vs. Cuomo lawsuit, which seeks to void the Boss Bill that targets the pro-life beliefs of Christian organizations by making it illegal to hire or manage staff based on pro-life beliefs;
2) CompassCare's Buffalo Expansion to replicate what God has done in Rochester and cut abortions in half in Buffalo in the next five years;
3) Additional Staffing Needs (paid and unpaid) to handle the increased load.
Please pray that God would give CompassCare favor in the eyes of the judge for the lawsuit, favor in the eyes of the Church and people in Buffalo (including patients), and that He would send more workers into the field to reap a greater harvest for life. Thank you.

UPDATE: "Moriah" came back for her second appointment and said the father of her baby still wants her to get an abortion. She doesn't feel she can raise a child without a father. Her ultrasound confirmed a six-week-old pregnancy with a strong heartbeat. Moriah cried quietly and took an ultrasound picture. Her nurse encouraged her to take more time before making a final decision. She allowed her nurse to pray for her, for wisdom and guidance. Please continue to pray for Moriah, that she would seek God's guidance and not listen to those around her telling her to abort. Pray her preborn child's life would outweigh all other considerations.

"T" is a part of a group parenting class, and seems very closed off to everyone and anything. She is not open to any spiritual discussion or parenting discussion. Please pray that we would find some way to connect with her during the class and that she is able to break through whatever is holding her back. Most of all, pray that Jesus would touch her heart.
