I went off one of my medications voluntarily because the doctor wouldn't reduce the dosage. Please pray that I don't have to go back on it at all, as I am doing well. Pray also for my 93 yr. old father William, who is scheduled for angioplasty on Wednesday. And for my brother Bill who is sick and plans to leave Friday for South America.

Please pray for the return of my 2 granddaughters from foster care. My daughter Shannon, has done everything the judge has asked for. It just keeps being prolonged. Please pray that Shannon continues to trust Jesus with her children.

UPDATE/PRAISE REPORT: "Kelly" and her boyfriend first came to CompassCare back in early December wanting to abort and stated they felt too young and financially unstable to have a child, but might consider an adoption plan. She never came back for another appointment and during her nurses's last contact with her, Kelly restated her intent to abort. Earlier this week, Kelly called her nurse asking to come in for an appointment. When she came in she told her nurse that she decided to continue and plans to parent! Her ultrasound revealed an almost 17-week-old healthy and active baby. Thank you for praying for Kelly and her baby!

Pray for favorable outcome, wisdom from doctors, our ability to comprehend the outcome & future needs, an opportunity to share Jesus & the truth of who He is & the offer of salvation to Don’s sister yet again without rejection.

"Sandy" was just accepted into graduate school and is thrilled to be taking steps toward her dream career in medicine. Then she discovered she is pregnant. Sandy's family doesn't live near so she feels alone and scared. She has not told her mom and fears her disappointment when she does. Her mom would not be in favor of her getting an abortion and Sandy was in tears even considering that option. She is hesitant about taking the life growing inside her and depending on her. When presented with the truth of the Gospel, Sandy tearfully and gladly dedicated her life to serving Him. Please pray that God would continue to reveal Himself to Sandy. Pray for peace and a deep understanding of her baby's value to grow in Sandy.

"Mona" came to CompassCare wanting an abortion. She has two young children at home, whom she cares for alone. The father of this baby is not committed to her and doesn't care what she does with the pregnancy. Mona also deals with depression, is working full time, and has plans to go back to school. Her pregnancy is too early to confirm and Mona confessed she is relieved because she doesn't want to get "too attached" to the baby. She left without scheduling a follow-up appointment. Please pray that God would intervene in Mona's heart and thought process right now. Pray that her plans to abort would be thwarted. Pray also that she will come back for another visit.

UPDATE on Val: Very sad today. I just found out that my friend Val, who has been battling rare bile duct cancer for 2 years, passed away Saturday night. She was in a lot of pain on Friday but still kept her positive attitude. I miss her. Please pray for her sons Matthew and Mitchell. They have been amazingly strong throughout these past 2 years. She appreciated all the prayers. Thank you.
