"Corine" told her nurse the number one reason she has to get an abortion is because she cannot tell her parents. Also, her boyfriend agrees that abortion is their only option. Corine became visibly upset when she heard her baby's heartbeat, and her nurse encouraged her to take time before making a final decision. Please pray for Corine and her boyfriend this week. Pray that she tells her parents about the pregnancy. Pray that they both return next week, determined to continue.

Pray for "Renee", an older mom who is ill and recently discovered she is pregnant. She has a number of challenges besides her sickness, including unemployment and subsequent financial trouble. Additionally, Renee has no family support and believes abortion is her only option. She admitted to the nurse, "I know it's not right to kill a baby, but I have no choice." Before leaving, she promised to return for another appointment before making a final decision. Please pray for Renee this week. Pray that she will courageously decide to protect her 6-week-old child.

Please continue to pray for Linda W., who is now going through a series of chemo treatments that require her to be at the hospital over a two-day period in the third week of every month. These are very targeted treatments designed to slow down / destroy the cancer and allow healing. Pray the Lord would bring healing, strength and peace to her, and give wisdom to her physicians. Linda said she knows the Lord is mighty to save and is with her every step of the way.

"Holly" has an abortion appointment scheduled for later this week but because she is second guessing her decision a coworker recommended she come to CompassCare. She recently shared her news with her Christian parents and they responded with compassion and promised support. But Holly also broke up with her boyfriend and he is pressuring her to abort. She is too early in her pregnancy to confirm viability so her nurse encouraged to come back for another ultrasound before making a final decision. Holly shared that her belief in God is what is making this a hard decision. Please pray that Holly cancels her abortion appointment and comes back to CompassCare. Pray that the Lord would convict her heart and lead her to trust Him. --------- "Tarra" sat down in the exam room and immediately said she needs an abortion because "I just can't have another child right now." She has a young preschooler at home, whom she adores and loves being a mother to. Tarra is too early in her pregnancy and agreed to come back in order to confirm viability. Learning about abortion and its risks and side-effects was upsetting to her and she remarked that "I might just let my pregnancy take it's course." That's when Tarra mentioned God; how she knows He is not in favor of abortion and allows things to happen for a reason. When presented with the Gospel, Tarra prayed to receive Christ and accepted an invitation to connect with a MotherCare team member. Please pray for Tarra as she goes home and thinks about all that transpired in her appointment. Pray that her faith would blossom and grow. Pray that she will connect with her MotherCare team member.
