"Ivory" has been sick for the past several weeks and she thought she had the flu but suspected it might be something else. So she made an appointment at CompassCare and learned she is pregnant. Ivory is a single mom with a brand new job, and is now seriously considering abortion. The ultrasound showed she is 12 weeks along in her pregnancy. Ivory confessed she feels devastated. Gently acknowledging the intensity of the news she just received, her nurse went on to help her understand the risks and side-effects of a surgical abortion. After looking at the information about fetal development, Ivory agreed that she needs to take time to think things over. Please pray that God makes His love known to Ivory and gives her courage to continue her pregnancy. Pray that her circumstances would not overwhelm her and she would return to CompassCare.

UPDATE: Brittany's Mom reports she made it safe and sound to Israel, PTL! Please pray for God's wisdom and grace as she makes all the necessary adjustments to living away from her family in a foreign country half way around the world. Thank you, Saints!

Please pray for the survivors and family of the recent car crash in Castile, NY. The mom who was killed was the sister-in-law of the pastor (Jeff Guesno) of Old Paths Chapel in Perry. There were two children injured in the crash: a 10 yr old daughter who has a broken back, and an 11 yr old daughter who suffered brain trauma and is not doing well. There are also two children at home.

"Tina" had an abortion a couple of years ago and is now seeking another one because she doesn't want any more kids. Her husband agrees. She feels she can't handle a pregnancy at her age. Tina showed no emotion talking about her decision or seeing her almost 8-week-old baby on the screen. She does not have an abortion appointment scheduled yet, agreed to come back to CompassCare next week, and allowed her nurse to pray for her situation. Please pray for Tina this week. Pray her eyes are opened to the value of the life she is carrying. Pray she returns with her husband and they together choose to protect their baby's life. --------- UPDATE: "Corine" came back for her return appointment and said she has an abortion appointment scheduled for Monday. After talking with her nurse, she shared that she may consider talking with her mom before her abortion but is scared to do so. Corine did remark that she wishes things were different so she could keep her baby. She told her nurse last week that she feels ashamed about getting pregnant without being married. Please continue to pray for Corine. Pray she will talk to her mom and that that conversation would tip her toward carrying to term. Pray she cancels her abortion appointment.

UPDATE: Surgery went well for Mary. The surgeon feels tumor does not look invasive in his opinion, but lab tests will return in two weeks. Since a larger portion of the liver was removed than expected, recovery will be more difficult. Please continue prayer for salvation for Wes and Mary. Thank you.

Please can you pray for me? I have not been feeling good and this weekend I had some really bad symptoms and I had to go to the doctor today and my blood pressure was really high and my heart rate was a little abnormal - between working so hard and also February was a bad month because two years ago my granddaughter Lily passed away. So now today they pulled me out of work and I had a lot of blood work done. I’m just exhausted.

My good, but unsaved friends for 45 years, Mary and Wes have 2 great trials in their lives. Mary's brother is missing and presumed dead while skiing, and Mary is having surgery today (Mon. 2/24) to remove a big part of her liver that has a 5 inch lesion on it. Please pray for Jesus' perfect will for them and that it all may lead to their salvation and lead to a return to health!
