Makhi update--Praise report!! The Cincinnati Childrens Hospital HAS accepted Makhi!! They will remove his trach likely in ~ 3 months or so. Amy is so very excited to hear Makhi speak! This is really great news.Thank you for praying for this and all the following drives and follow up in Ohio. Praise God for His tender and caring heart. Amen

Ann H. has had a low grade fever and much fatigue for weeks. Medical lab tests have been inconclusive and repeated for accuracy. Let's keep our dear sister in Christ in prayer that this mysterious illness would come to an end, for Ann's complete healing, strength and the Lord's peace over her. (Phil. 4:6,7) Thank you all.

"Tina" found CompassCare online. She told her family about her pregnancy but does not want to continue because she is not in relationship with the father of the baby and feels overwhelmed with her three young children. Tina's parents are in the Midwest and are supportive of her getting an abortion. Her ultrasound revealed an almost 10-week-old baby and while she admitted he was cute, it didn't change her mind. She allowed her nurse to pray for her and her situation and said she felt more peaceful afterwards. Tina did agree to come back for another appointment but left still intent on aborting. Please pray for Tina. Pray that her eyes are opened to the value of her baby's life. Pray she returns for another appointment. --------- "Janice" is married with a young child at home and recently found out she is pregnant again. She suffers from anxiety and thinks another child will be detrimental to her mental health, so is planning on aborting. Her husband and sister support this decision to abort. Her ultrasound confirmed a six-week-old baby and Janice said she is hoping to get an abortion ASAP because letting her pregnancy go any longer would "be too hard." Her nurse encouraged her to take time to process her decision before going forward with her plan. Please pray that Janice would pause and consider the serious implications of aborting, especially as that decision has huge mental health ramifications. Pray that her family would have a change of heart and encourage her to continue her pregnancy.

"B" came in for STD testing. We counseled about abstinence and also talked about Jesus and he prayed to accept Christ! Please pray for this young man’s relationship with Christ to grow, pray that his test is negative and that he will return next week for results and further conversation.

UPDATE/PRAISE REPORTS: My friend Mary (large tumor removed from her liver) is home recovering now and feeling, doing very well, PTL! They are awaiting the pathology report, but the surgeon did not believe the tumor was cancerous. Thank you for praying, and please continue to pray for her and husband Wes's salvation. Also, all my family live in Nashville, but were unharmed by the recent tornadoes, Praise God!

UPDATE on Makhi: Doctors at Strong stated that Makhi needed to be 18 lbs before he had his trach removed. He remains only 13 lbs. Through mom and dad seeking out other options, they found Cincinnati Childrens hospital had experience with young children and very light weight. Tomorrow at 9:00 the team at Cincinnati is reviewing Makhi's condition to see if they will take him on! IF they do, surgery is likely within 3 months to remove his trach to begin speaking...oh my.. Amy and Chris are very hopeful this could be done. Please pray for the Lord's timing and favor. Thank you again for the prayers for this family!

"Moriah" recently found out she is pregnant. She considers herself pro-choice but now that she is in this situation she's not sure what to do. Moriah suffers from depression and worries that having an abortion will adversely affect her. The father of the baby wants her to get an abortion and because she grew up without a dad, she doesn't want this for her child. Moriah is too early in her pregnancy to confirm viability so is going to wait a week and return for another ultrasound. Please pray that Moriah would have the courage to carry her child to term. Pray that the father would support her or at least not pressure her to abort. Pray that God would grant her peace in the midst of this challenging situation.

Please pray for my 80 year old mom in Florida. She’s legally blind in one eye. Now her “decent eye” has been diagnosed with a hole in the retina. They’ll try a combination of 5 prescription eye drops for one month first to see if they can heal it. If not, there’s a risky surgery. Either way, she’s at high risk for completely losing vision in that eye. She’s a believer.

Embracing Options
Please pray for "M" and her boyfriend, who came in for material aid. They were thankful for the baby items for their first child, but were not receptive to any spiritual counsel or prayer. We are praying she will come for parenting classes so we can develop an open and trusting relationship with her. Also pray for "C" who came in for material aid. She and her daughter got into a car accident Wednesday and she was still in shock and dealing with strong emotions. She was receptive to prayer and help but did not want to expand on her situation. We are praying that the Lord would heal her and bring her back for more conversation about her personal and spiritual life.
