"Marion" recently discovered she is pregnant and feels attacked from all sides. She lost her job due to COVID-19 layoffs, is experiencing increased depression and anxiety, and the father of the baby cut off all contact with her when he found out that she is pregnant. She feels all alone and worries that she won’t be able to be a good mother to her two teenagers, much less a newborn. Marion told the nurse that she is a Christian and believes that God cares about her, but she doesn’t know what to make of her situation. Her nurse did her best to encourage Marion and shared that God can make a way through even the bleakest of situations and that He will be with her always. Please pray that God will give Marion the courage to continue her pregnancy. Pray that He will reveal Himself to her and that she will trust Him to provide for both her and her family. ------- "Sherri" took a home pregnancy test last week and it came back positive. When she came into CompassCare, she immediately told her nurse she doesn’t believe abortion is right but doesn’t know how she can possibly have this baby. Sherri has two children at home and doesn’t feel she can handle another one. Her pregnancy is too early to confirm, however she says that she has an abortion scheduled for next week. On her way out, Sherri told her nurse that the ultrasound made her think and that she will return for a second appointment and ultrasound before her abortion appointment. Please pray for Sherri this week. Pray she will come back next week and decide to carry her baby to term. -------- "Jasmina" came into CompassCare looking worried. She is not okay with the prospect of being a mom and is concerned about how COVID-19 will impact her life. Her boyfriend already has a child, and said he will not support another one. Jasmina’s pregnancy is too early to confirm, but she told her nurse that seeing the ultrasound made her "feel different." Please pray for Jasmina. Pray that she will commit herself to following God’s will for her and her pregnancy. -------- "Tony" called her OB/GYN, looking for some guidance and support, but her doctor would not see her due to COVID-19 and referred her to Planned Parenthood. Tony has had multiple abortions in the past, and though she regrets each of them, she feels alone and unsupported. Thankfully, she decided to come to CompassCare. Tony’s nurse was not able to confirm the pregnancy because of how early she is and so Tony agreed to set-up another appointment. Tony returned to CompassCare with her daughters, whom she recently told about her pregnancy. They were all excited and couldn’t wait to hear the baby’s heartbeat. Tony is now connected with a woman from a local MotherCare team and intends to continue her pregnancy. Please pray that Tony remains firm in her decision to carry to term. Pray for a fruitful relationship to blossom between Tony and her MotherCare contact.

Looking distraught, "Victoria" and her boyfriend walked into CompassCare for an appointment. When Victoria's pregnancy was confirmed, her countenance sank even further as she worried that the baby may have been harmed by some unhealthy lifestyle decisions. But because of how early the pregnancy is, her nurse let her know that the baby is likely unharmed. Still, they are sure that abortion is the only way. Victoria asked for her boyfriend to see the ultrasound with her, so the nurse brought him into the exam room. He gasped when he heard the heartbeat. Please pray that Victoria and her boyfriend will change their minds about aborting. Please pray that they will have a vision of hope and that Victoria will carry their baby to term. -------- UPDATE: Thank you for praying for "Lucy" (young, scared, boyfriend wanted abortion)! With God’s strength and provision, she chose to continue her pregnancy. Lucy’s boyfriend is warming up to the idea of being a dad and it turns out that his parents are thrilled to have a grandchild. Their baby is due near Christmas. Thank you for praying!

UPDATE: Thank you for praying for "Corrie" and her twins. She returned for her 4th appointment and is still undecided. She is extremely nauseated, physically weak, and depressed. “I don’t want to regret my decision,” she sobbed to her nurse, “but I can’t do this!” Corrie wanted to see her ultrasound again and told her nurse that seeing her babies makes her decision harder each time, but that she has an abortion scheduled at Planned Parenthood. Her nurse then asked if she would come back for another appointment beforehand and Corrie said she definitely will. Corrie confessed that she doesn't think God will help her because she is living in "a sinful situation." Her nurse once again shared the reality of God's love and care for her. Pray that Corrie will cry out to God for strength and grace. Pray that He will rescue her from a decision that will damage her and destroy her two little ones.

"Camilla" sees abortion as her only option. She recently discovered she is pregnant and is pretty sure it is not from her husband. They were separated for a period of time and Camilla got pregnant while they were apart. She knows that it will devastate him if he finds out. Camilla’s nurse told her she is too early in the pregnancy to confirm viability and so has time to consider her options. She left planning on returning in a week for a follow-up appointment. Please pray that Camilla will think carefully through all her options. Pray that God's hand of grace would be on Camilla and her husband. Pray they will reconcile and decide to protect the baby Camilla is carrying.

Praying for the salvation of Tony, that his eyes are opened, that the Lord would bring about situations and circumstances that would lead him to the truth. Pray the Lord to break any chains, stronghold or barriers that bind Tony, and that His kindness lead Tony to full repentance and help him to turn away from his sin. Pray for laborers from a variety of sources cross Tony’s path and that he see God wherever he goes, so much so that he cannot escape Him!
