Please pray for the woman above me who is smoking heavily. I can't even enjoy my own place because of the smoke coming into my place right through the vents. Please pray.

CompassCare

"Lucy" came into CompassCare scared to death. “I’m too young to have a baby!” she told her nurse, “and I don’t know what to do.” Her boyfriend wants her to get an abortion and even drove her to an abortion appointment earlier that day. Lucy confided in her nurse that she doesn’t believe abortion is right but is feeling pressured by her boyfriend. During the appointment, Lucy’s boyfriend saw the ultrasound and heard their baby’s strong heartbeat. Once Lucy saw and heard her baby, she was no longer willing to consider abortion but her boyfriend did not seem dissuaded. Please pray that God will give Lucy courage. Pray that she will have the strength of resolve to go against her boyfriend if necessary, and pray that he will have a change of heart. -------- UPDATES: "Ella" (abortion-minded because no longer in relationship w/baby's father) returned for her follow-up appointment and was pleased to hear her baby’s heartbeat for the first time. She told her nurse that taking time to think helped her not feel so overwhelmed. While she still hasn’t told anyone except her sister about the pregnancy, Ella is now strongly leaning towards carrying her baby to term. Please continue to pray for courage as Ella tells her family about the pregnancy. Pray that her family support her as she seeks to protect her baby's life. --------- "Holly" (financially struggling single mom in abusive relationship) reached out to her CompassCare nurse last Friday. She said that she is planning on getting an abortion and is connecting with her doctor soon to pursue one. Please pray that God will intervene in the lives of Holly and her baby. Pray that Holly will reconsider, and decide to continue her pregnancy.

Please keep Don’s sister Dianne in prayer. Not saved. She's been on a medical journey since last November - ICU, hospital, continuing care, nursing home. All with lots of medical mishaps that have made issues worse. Had been released a month ago from nursing home & now is back in ICU.

CompassCare

"Corrie" came for her first appointment last week wanting an abortion. She was reminded that CompassCare does not provide or refer for abortion but she'll receive all the information needed to make a truly informed decision. She agreed to stay and her ultrasound revealed she is carrying a healthy set of twins. “They are a blessing,” Corrie told her nurse. Corrie confessed that she has had a couple abortions in the past and regrets them. When presented with the Gospel, she surrendered her life to Jesus and asked for His help. After agreeing to a follow-up appointment, Corrie said that she felt confident to continue the pregnancy. When she arrived for her follow-up appointment this week, her resolve seemed to have dwindled. She was starting to feel the physical effects of the pregnancy and discouraged that the father of her babies is refusing to be involved. Her nurse offered and Corrie agreed to connect with a former CompassCare patient who also had unexpected twins. Please pray that Corrie that finds rest in God. Pray she is encouraged by her connection with the other mom and that ultimately she chooses to continue her pregnancy. -------- "Jenna" came to CompassCare upon discovering she is pregnant. “This is a bad time for me to be pregnant,” she told her nurse. Besides working full time, she is taking care of her sick mother, and is unsure of her relationship with the baby’s father. Jenna knows that her mother wants her to have the baby, and she does want to have children eventually, but she feels that the timing couldn’t be worse. Jenna's pregnancy is too early to confirm, so her nurse advised her to return for a follow-up appointment next week. She also encouraged Jenna to discuss the situation further with her mother. Please pray that Jenna will protect her baby's life, that she will receive support from both her mother and boyfriend, and that she will return for her follow-up appointment. ------- "Trina" came into CompassCare and promptly told her nurse that she is way too young to have a baby. The father of the baby feels the same way, but Trina’s parents say that they are supportive of her having the baby, though they aren’t pressuring her. But when her nurse showed Trina her healthy baby and went over her options with her, Trina said, “I’m kind of changing my mind now that I’ve heard the heartbeat.” She agreed to return for a follow-up appointment and has plans to talk to her mom about continuing the pregnancy. Please pray that Trina’s heart continues to soften toward her baby and that she will keep her follow-up appointment. -------- UPDATES: Thank you for praying for "Nora" (wants abortion, medical & situation problems). She recently learned that she has a rare ectopic pregnancy (fetus developing outside the womb) and has to have surgery as a result. In her original appointment with CompassCare, Nora expressed reservations about surrendering her life to Christ. Pray that she will seek Christ’s gift of salvation in this time. -------- "Salina" returned for her follow-up appointment at CompassCare and announced that she is planning on having her baby! Her biggest concern had been telling her mom about her pregnancy. Miraculously, Salina’s mom approached her saying, “I feel like you may be pregnant. If you are, you need to know that I wouldn’t be disappointed in you.” This was the extra support that Salina needed to decide to continue. Thank you for your prayers!

Our dear sister in Christ, Ann Harper, continues to experience fever, chills, and breathing issues despite testing negative twice for the Covid-19 virus and having three courses of antibiotics under her physician's care. She requests prayer for wisdom regarding testing and further treatment. Let's continue to lift Ann up in prayer to the Lord our God for healing, strength, comfort and peace. Thank you all. "Ella" is a past patient and, rather than making an appointment with the abortionist she's gone to before, she scheduled an appointment with CompassCare. Ella confided to her nurse that she is the second person to know about her pregnancy and she wants to abort. Ella said that while there are fewer obstacles for her to continue, she is primarily considering abortion because she is no longer in a relationship with the father of the baby. After her appointment, she told her nurse that she can see herself continuing without the father, but wants to think about it more. Please pray for Ella and her preborn baby. Pray that she will return for her next appointment at CompassCare, resolved to continue her pregnancy.

UPDATE on Brittney S. (in Israel): Brittney's parents report she continues to be healthy and is doing well, but remains in isolation along with the medical team while awaiting the pandemic restrictions to be lifted. New orders are now requiring them to have a visa to return to the area where they were working. Please pray that Brittney would be able to receive her visa and therefore be able to set up a medical field camp. Pray for Brittney to be safe and have the assurance of knowing the Lord's will and blessing over her and the entire outreach team. Thank you!
