UPDATES/PRAISE REPORTS: Beverly G. is praising the Lord because her knee surgery last week only lasted 30 mins. because she had only a "small meniscus tear". She is able to treat her pain/swelling/stiffness with over the counter pain meds and exercises. She is grateful for all the prayers coming her way and she gives all the credit to the Lord Jesus, whose mercy endures forever. --------- Mike G. continues to recover in a nursing home from his lumbar spinal surgery two weeks ago. He is being helped greatly with their occupational and physical therapy programs. He is very thankful to the Lord that he can walk now without assistance and is finally feeling so much better! Mike gives all the glory for his recovery to the Lord.

Thank you for praying for Judy. It's been determined she has gallstones and needs her gallbladder removed. Praying for an easy surgery and quick recovery. Praying the time doesn't conflict with her son's thyroid surgery. Please also pray for James, that his surgery goes well and no adverse results of that either. Thank you.

"Liv" has come to CompassCare three times in order to confirm her pregnancy. At each appointment, she has expressed determination to get an abortion with no apparent internal conflict. At her most recent appointment, Liv heard her baby's heartbeat and saw his form moving on the screen. When her nurse asked her how she felt about what she saw, Liv smiled but then said, "I don't know, I'll try not to think about it very much." Please pray for Liv this week. She did respond to the Gospel at her first appointment but hasn't evidenced softening yet. Pray God would work in her heart and she would not move forward with her abortion plan.

Please pray for my cousin's 34 year old son Joey. In a go cart accident, multiple skull fractures. He’s not expected to make it. His mother is immersed in the Catholic Church. Joey’s not saved. His dad's parents are. Many are going to pray over him. We’re hopeful for salvation for Joey & his family. And a miracle healing. We’re praising the Lord that this has already been used to reunite my cousin with her saved sister. They haven’t spoken in years.

"Moriah" is a mother of three children who recently discovered she is pregnant. She came to CompassCare with her youngest child in tow to learn about her options. She is considering abortion because the father of the baby is not interested in parenting with her.
Moriah feels conflicted about having an abortion because she loves her children and is a professing Christian. She is ashamed to share the news of her pregnancy with anyone in her church or family. Her pregnancy was too early to confirm and she agreed to take more time to consider her decision. Please pray that God helps her overcome fear and shame. Pray she is responsive to follow-up from her nurse and chooses to protect the life of her child. --------- "Kelly" is a high school student pregnant for the second time. Currently she believes abortion is her best option due to the pressures in her life. She is helping care for an ill relative while feeling sick herself. Her plans for the future do not involve raising a child. Kelly shared that she chose adoption for her first baby. She also shared that she believes in God and allowed her nurse to pray with her. Her nurse was able to offer help with her symptoms and resources to help her care for her loved one at home. Please pray that Kelly returns for her follow-up appointment next week and decides once again to carry to term.

Gracious God, we love you. You are the center of our joy and the strength of our lives. We pray that you will bring men and women to a place of repentance and forgive our sins. We ask that you surround our president with Godly council and that all elected officials and world leaders will have wise counsel and have a heart for God. We ask that you will forgive the sins of our land and heal our land. Have mercy on us all. Grant us your peace and direction. We pray for revival in our hearts and churches. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and healing for all of those affected by the corona virus. Lord in your loving kindness and tender mercies hear our prayers and let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We give you glory for moving by your spirit and answering our prayers. In Jesus' name, amen.

UPDATE: Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. My boyfriend's Dad had surgery yesterday (Thursday) and everything went better then expected! They took out part of his lung and some lymph nodes and said they got all the cancer. Praying for his recovery and for the pathologist to read the report and everything is fine! It’s going to be a long recovery and he will be in rehab for 3 weeks. Thank you for your prayers!
