UPDATE from Antoinette: She reports she continues to be in constant, excruciating pain from the multiple fractures in her hand, but is praising the Lord that the medical personnel are listening to her and she's to have a special nerve test. They also switched her to a different medication, which is used specifically to treat nerve pain. Also, the nurse showed her her latest x-rays, and there is noticeable healing and all the bones and "hardware" put in her hand have remained in place, PTL! She is VERY grateful for all the prayers on her behalf. Please continue to pray for her recovery and healing.

Please pray for Oneida to have peace and strength. And for her mother who is going into hospice for cancer of the uterus, kidney, and colon. That she doesn't have pain and that the Lord takes her at just the right time. Doctors think she has about 6 weeks to live. They are both believers. Thank you.

Please pray for a very special person in my life’s Dad, who has been recently diagnosed with cancer in his lung. This Thursday he will be having the mass removed and part of his lung! He’s 84 years old and we need your prayers for his surgery and his healing. I also need prayers for a huge decision I need to make and I need guidance and strength to get through this, and also for my precious granddaughter Riley! I know it’s a lot but I’m going through a lot! Thank you.

"Jane" came to CompassCare wanting an abortion. She has three children at home and is not ready for another one as she is working full-time and taking online classes. Jane hasn't told her family about the pregnancy because they don't believe abortion is right and she's afraid they will judge her. When she saw the rapid beating of her 6-week-old baby's heart on the ultrasound screen she whispered, "[he's] so tiny." Jane tearfully discussed her regret from a previous abortion with her nurse and agreed to take some time and talk about her decision with her mom. Please pray that God would give Jane the courage to have this child. Pray that He will surround her with peace and give her clear direction. Pray she will return next week.

"Cristina" sat down with her nurse and said it's just not right to abort a baby but feels her reasons are legitimate and circumstances unavoidable. Cristina is a drug user and does not want to see her baby born addicted to drugs. She viewed her 17-week-old baby on the ultrasound screen and was amazed at how far along she is. But she was searching on her phone for a local abortionist before even leaving the office. Cristina is agreeable to follow-up calls but does not want another appointment. Please pray for Cristina and her preborn baby. Pray God will stall her plans to abort. Pray Cristina's eyes are opened to her child's value and worth.

UPDATE from Antoinette (multiple fractures of wrist, dislocation of arm, surgery in May): She is praising the Lord for continual (though slow) improvement, and a decrease in the intensity of the pain. (She had been hit by lightning in the past, so has extremely sensitive nerves, and faces a much longer recovery time.) She remains in continuous pain, but stays focused on the Lord, and is very grateful for the prayers on her behalf.

"Elia" came to CompassCare the day after a positive home pregnancy test. She hasn’t told anyone she is pregnant, not even her boyfriend or mother. She is terrified and seeking an abortion, believing she is too young to have a baby. The ultrasound showed a healthy, 7-week-old baby. “I can’t stop looking at it,” she whispered to her nurse, “That’s my baby.” Elia also confided to her nurse that she can’t bring herself to tell her mother, even though she is very close with her. When her nurse shared the gospel with Elia, she said that she wants to know God and have His peace. Please pray for Elia and her baby. Pray she will experience the supernatural peace of Christ and submit her life to His Lordship. Pray Elia will share her news with her mother and boyfriend.

UPDATE on Frank C.: He has been diagnosed with gall stones and, quite possibly, will be having surgery, but just when is undetermined. He is in a room, and his pain has decreased, but the hospital is not allowing any visitors due to the coronovirus. Please continue to pray for the Lord's protection and healing.
