"Fran" never took a pregnancy test but felt "off" and wanted to see if she was pregnant. Her test at CompassCare was positive. The father of the baby is a friend of 20 years who is not interested in taking the relationship to "the next level." Fran doesn't want to make things "weird" by having his baby. She admitted that she doesn't believe abortion is right but thinks it's her only real option. Fran said she is a spiritual person but surrendering her life to Christ Jesus is too overwhelming to her. But it is something she wants to think about more. Please pray for Fran, that her heart would be softened toward a relationship with her Savior and also toward her preborn child. Fran agreed to return in a week for another appointment. Pray she does indeed come back.

Please pray for my son Kory in Alaska. He had an unscheduled surgery last night to clean out an infection in his knee. He had been calling the VA for 2 weeks, telling them there was a problem, but they refused to give him an appointment. Now he's looking at 2 days (minimum) in the hospital and 6 weeks of antibiotics through a stint for bone infection! Please pray for the LORD's protection from COVID (he's got asthma) and any other possible complications. Pray too that his Crohn's disease doesn't flare up from all this, and for God's merciful, healing touch upon him. Please, LORD, give Kory and his family Your peace! Thank you, Saints!

"Cassie" is devastated that she is pregnant and, although she has never believed abortion is okay, said there is no way she can continue this pregnancy. She explained she is in an abusive relationship, has a toddler at home, is barely able to make ends meet, suffers from depression, and is not sure she can physically maintain a pregnancy. When Cassie saw the image of her baby on the ultrasound screen she quietly began to cry. She willingly listened to God's great love for her and was encouraged to cry out to Him for courage and strength.
Please pray Cassie comes to understand her great need for a relationship with Jesus. Pray she is given hope. Cassie agreed to return next week for another appointment but is also scheduled at a local abortionist. Pray she keeps her appointment at CompassCare and cancels the one at the abortionist.

"Josie" told her nurse that she wants to be a mother someday, but just not now. She came in for a second appointment earlier this week and saw her healthy, 10-week-old baby on the screen. Josie did not react at all to the image of her preborn child, merely remarking that she has made up her mind that abortion is what she needs to do. Her whole family supports her in this decision. Josie has a chemical abortion scheduled for later this week. Please pray that God will intervene and keep Josie from from going to her appointment. Pray that her heart is softened toward her child and she chooses to protect him.

From CompassCare: "Kelly" sat down with her nurse, saying she was told she could never have kids and was thrown off guard upon seeing a positive pregnancy test. She feels overwhelmed with this decision before her. Her boyfriend says he will support her with whatever she decides, but he is "low-key pressuring me to abort." Kelly feels she would be alone in caring for her child, but has taken some positive steps in case she continues, like stopping all alcohol consumption. During her ultrasound, Kelly heard her baby's heartbeat and started crying. Afterwards, she admitted that it would be harder now to get an abortion after hearing the heartbeat. Please pray for Kelly as she wrestles with her decision. Pray she returns to CompassCare, resolved to continue her pregnancy.
