"Ruby" came to CompassCare to confirm her pregnancy and learn about her options. She saw a baby with a strong heartbeat during the ultrasound. When asked for her thoughts, Ruby said she isn't ready to have a baby. She has a plan for her life, including college this fall. Ruby told her nurse she has not made a firm decision about whether or not she will get an abortion. She scheduled another appointment to come back next week. Please pray for Ruby to keep her appointment next week and for God's intervention in her life. Pray she has the courage to protect her child.

UPDATES/PRAYER REQUESTS: Antoinette Palmisano (multiple fractures left hand) is now experiencing acute pain and discomfort in her left shoulder right down to her wrist & hand. Her fingers continue to be swollen and she is unable to open her hand without pain. She has an appointment to see a specialist. She is concerned that her shoulder joint pain may involve a "rotator cuff" injury? Antoinette asked for prayer for wisdom/guidance from the LORD for direction and His will regarding the next steps ahead. --------- It was in the news Monday that Israel had been attacked with Hamas rockets, and now they are fighting and tensions increasing in the region where Brittney and the medical outreach is located. Please keep Brittney and her missionary medical outreach team in prayer.

UPDATES/PRAISE REPORTS: Beverly G. is praising the Lord because her knee surgery last week only lasted 30 mins. because she had only a "small meniscus tear". She is able to treat her pain/swelling/stiffness with over the counter pain meds and exercises. She is grateful for all the prayers coming her way and she gives all the credit to the Lord Jesus, whose mercy endures forever. --------- Mike G. continues to recover in a nursing home from his lumbar spinal surgery two weeks ago. He is being helped greatly with their occupational and physical therapy programs. He is very thankful to the Lord that he can walk now without assistance and is finally feeling so much better! Mike gives all the glory for his recovery to the Lord.

Thank you for praying for Judy. It's been determined she has gallstones and needs her gallbladder removed. Praying for an easy surgery and quick recovery. Praying the time doesn't conflict with her son's thyroid surgery. Please also pray for James, that his surgery goes well and no adverse results of that either. Thank you.

"Liv" has come to CompassCare three times in order to confirm her pregnancy. At each appointment, she has expressed determination to get an abortion with no apparent internal conflict. At her most recent appointment, Liv heard her baby's heartbeat and saw his form moving on the screen. When her nurse asked her how she felt about what she saw, Liv smiled but then said, "I don't know, I'll try not to think about it very much." Please pray for Liv this week. She did respond to the Gospel at her first appointment but hasn't evidenced softening yet. Pray God would work in her heart and she would not move forward with her abortion plan.
