My brothers and sisters in the Lord, please pray for one of my students. His name is Brenden, and he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain stem tumor. Our Lord Jesus is the Great Physician - may He put His healing, comforting touch on this young man, and give comfort and strength to his family. Thank you so much!

"Taisha" has a Christian background but came to CompassCare considering abortion. She is currently working many hours to support herself and her young child and does not have a good relationship with the father of the baby. She believes she does not have the ability to parent another child right now. Her ultrasound exam revealed an eight-week-old baby. After Taisha heard his heartbeat, her nurse asked her what she was thinking. She said she wasn't sure what to think. She seemed excited to take the picture home but still expressed doubts about continuing the pregnancy. Her nurse shared the Gospel with her but she said she is not ready to accept Christ. She agreed to take another week to think about her decision and return for a follow-up appointment. Please pray Taisha's heart is open to a personal relationship with God and she chooses to continue her pregnancy.

My Mom was admitted to the hospital on Sunday with a fever of 102.8. They ran a bunch of tests but can’t figure out what’s causing the fever. Mom is pretty miserable because she’s in agony with the arthritis she has everywhere. She can barely move and they wouldn’t give her anything because it would interfere with the body temperature they’re trying to keep track of. But until they can figure out why her body temperature keeps spiking, she’s not going anywhere. Please pray for a resolution, for the temperature to normalize, and for there not to be anything seriously wrong.

"Lucy" wasn't feeling well and took a home pregnancy test. She immediately thought she should get an abortion because she is in an emotionally abusive and controlling relationship. She came to CompassCare to find out how far along she is, accompanied by the father of the baby. Lucy saw her baby during the ultrasound exam and cried as she heard her seven-week-old baby's heartbeat. She asked twice, "Is it normal?" A note of hope was detectable in her voice. She had a miscarriage in the past and has had anxiety and depression since then. When her boyfriend left the room, she said she cannot raise a baby in an abusive home like the one she grew up in. When her nurse started to share the Gospel with her, the appointment was disrupted by Lucy's boyfriend calling and texting her repeatedly to tell her to leave. Lucy's nurse was able to pray for her and offer her some supports before she left. Please pray that Lucy is freed from the abuse and control she is experiencing. Pray God illuminates a path forward for her and her child.

Hi new update on mom. She's got an abscessed gallbladder, cirrhosis, fluid build up and bowel blockage caused by the cirrhosis, Iv cancer in the abdomen. Doctor said less than 50% probability she would get strong enough for chemo, then the chemo has small chance of extending her life. Needless to say we're beside ourselves with much sadness and trying to understand what God's plan is , My brother is really trying hard to keep it together. But he's truly afraid, scared and feeling lonely. I have to believe our God is still the God of miracles. We're praying so SO hard. Please pray for her, Thank you, Dana

My friend's husband Don had surgery to remove one of his parathyroids a week ago Thursday. While we should all have 4 parathyroids - about the size of a grain of rice -, Don had 5 and had to have 2 the size of a nickel removed. He was back to emergency in a lot of pain again yesterday and he still can't eat anything but jello. He has a feeding tube. Please pray that the doctors will finally find the cause of the pain and the reason he can't eat. Thank you.
