Anna H. reports Morgan, a 13 yr old with mitochondrial disease, has improved considerably since we started praying for her last week. PTL! Please keep praying for her and Anna's granddaughter Riley, who suffers from the same "incurable" disease. ------- Mike G. reports he has to use a walker for full support now and was scheduled to see a specialist yesterday (Tues.) about the progressing numbness in his legs. Please pray for wisdom and a breakthrough regarding getting his feeling back in his legs. --------- Antoinette P. said that her left arm & shoulder injury continues healing and she is doing much better now without the constant pain, PTL!! She continues with weekly PT and although there are movement limitations, she is persevering and is even able to drive her car with an arm support. Antoinette continues to ask for prayer for unsaved family members that she has been sharing with for many years.

Praise report on my niece Courtney (33 years old with a 2 year old baby girl. Courtney was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.): Courtney wrote me this in a text: "Prayers are working! I met new oncologist today! And long story short lymph nodes in armpit aren't there right now, swelling in the breasts went down - oncologist and her medical team are PURE AMAZINGNESS!" She is getting a different plan for treatment and reports feeling so much more positive to beat this!!! She asks that we keep praying!!!! Her next chemo treatment is 9/10/20. Please pray that God would use this time to bring unsaved family members and oncology medical team to Christ. Courtney asked for another bible and of course I supplied her with one right away! Please pray for seeds to be planted and watered, for encounters with Jesus through His word and godly people. The other day Courtney left her wallet in a Dollar store and became very worried that she'd lost it or someone would take it. Well after asking the Lord to help her find her wallet, a kind husband and wife showed up at her door with her wallet. Courtney and her mom just smiled at each other in AMAZEMENT. God is moving mightily! Hallelujah!! Thank you all for continued prayers!

Please keep Maureen A. in prayer. She is hoping to come home from the hospital tomorrow, Wednesday (diverticulitis and infection). She will have 10 weeks of recovery and then additional surgery, so pray that she heals quickly and with no further complications. Please keep her son Eric in prayer as well as he is under a doctors care too. And her mother, who is in hospice. Please pray for God's comfort and peace for Maureen as she needs His strength right now. She is very grateful for your prayers.

Please pray for 18 year old Nate, who has bone cancer. The doctors have stopped treatment as his cell count is too low. He was admitted into the hospital on Saturday night and they don't think he will make it through the week. He needs a miracle. Please pray for Nate. Thank you.

Asking the Lord to please remove my mom's abdominal pain and heal fully her gallbladder and stones. No complications, infections or life threatening results.

Please pray for my niece Lara, who has MS and is in a wheelchair. She spilled boiling water on herself Sunday afternoon, went by ambulance to hospital. She expected to stay overnight in the burn unit. She is the sweetest young woman and loves the Lord.

Please pray for Joanne. She came to CompassCare saying she got pregnant accidentally. "The father is not a great guy," she told her nurse. She also doubts her ability to be a good parent due to mental health struggles she has. She went on to explain she grew up in a household with financial strain and doesn't want her child to experience that. Without greater income and a stable father, she feels the best thing she can do for her child is to get an abortion. When Joanne heard her baby's heartbeat, she was profoundly affected and began crying. She said wants kids but wants them to have a good dad and enough money to live on. She grew up in a Christian household but said, "I walked away from God." When her nurse offered to talk about the Gospel with her, she declined. Please pray God draws Joanne to Himself during this stressful time, empowering her with hope for her life and her child's life.
Thank you for faithfully praying for women seriously considering abortion. Additionally, please pray regularly for the nursing team. These nurses are on the front lines of life and death decisions and it can wear on them. Like the abortion-determined women they serve, these nurses also see the baby on the ultrasound screen and hear the heartbeat. Some of those women choose to abort and it can weigh heavily on a nurse's heart. Yet, the nurses remain committed, compassionate, and sometimes tired. They need our continual prayers. Thank you for your ongoing prayers for women, their pre-born babies, and the team of nurses that are serving them with grace and truth.

"Mona" is a young mother with several children and just found out she is pregnant. She is feeling strained financially due to the impact of COVID-19. The father of the baby also already has two children. It seems hard to imagine raising another child with the current pressures in their lives. She considers herself pro-choice but never expected to be considering abortion herself. Although her pregnancy was too early to confirm with ultrasound, Mona was grateful to get more information to help her make a decision. She suffers from depression and is concerned an abortion would adversely impact her mental health. She also worries her family would be hurt by her choice to abort. Please pray for Mona to have the strength to continue her pregnancy and God gives her hope for her future. -------- Please pray for "Kelzie". She came to CompassCare wanting to know how far along she is in her pregnancy. She is finishing her college education at a Christian college and has an appointment for an abortion in a few days. She showed very little emotion talking about her decision saying, "Anyone who knows me knows I would abort any pregnancy, no questions asked." When Kelzie saw her seven-week-old baby during the ultrasound, she started thinking out loud about what life would be like if she had a baby. She concluded she still wasn't sure she wants children. When her nurse shared the gospel with her, she showed no interest. Her nurse asked about the decision she had to make regarding her pregnancy and Kelzie said, "There's no decision to make. I'm going to do it. It's not killing a baby to me. It's just getting my life back on track." She declined to make a return appointment. Please pray for Kelzie's mind and heart to be awakened to the truth of the Gospel and the value of the life within her. Pray she does not go through with her abortion appointment.
