Hi my wonderful brothers and sisters at Koinonia! Please say a prayer for me. I am saved yet homeless at 74 and now the virus has taken the little strength I had left. How I deeply appreciate your prayers for strength! GOD richly bless you. Brother Danny

"Morgan" is in college and finds herself pregnant after a brief relationship. The father of the baby is pressuring her to get an abortion, but she told her nurse she feels conflicted. "My family is religious and pro-life. They believe in having lots of kids." She went on to say she had considered herself pro-choice until now. She doesn't know what to think now that she is in an unplanned pregnancy herself. After the ultrasound exam, she said, "Oh, I can't get an abortion now that I've heard the heartbeat." She was open to the idea of considering adoption. She worries her dad will be disappointed in her because of the pregnancy. Please pray for Morgan to have the strength to say no to abortion in spite of the pressure she is facing. Pray God reveals himself to her in a personal way. --------- "Jenna" is a young professional who was surprised to see the positive test and said she never wanted to have kids. "I don't want to be pregnant," she told her nurse. When she saw her eighteen-week-old baby moving on the ultrasound screen, she asked, "Do I still have options?" She was unemotional during the visit and said she doesn't plan to talk to anyone about the pregnancy but the father of the baby. Please pray God softens Jenna's heart towards her child. Pray she accepts the reality that she is a mother and resolves to protect the life of her baby. ------ "Nova" is nineteen years old and is in her second trimester. At her first appointment, she decided to carry to term after seeing her baby during the ultrasound. She also surrendered her life to Christ during the appointment. When she returned for a second appointment, she had done a complete 180. She told her nurse she must get an abortion. Nova's boyfriend wants her to continue the pregnancy but she said emphatically, "It's not the right time to have a baby." She would not look at the ultrasound screen. When her nurse asked her how she feels, she said, "Sad. It's a life." Please pray Nova reaches out to other supportive people in her life this week. She has a third appointment scheduled. Pray she keeps that appointment and decides to keep her baby.

UPDATES: "Cherise" (overwhelmed, in hotel, seriously considered abortion) had not responded to any communication for a few days, but called back after her nurse reached out again. She found a job and reported her morning sickness has lessened. She's currently staying at a shelter with her children and applied for housing at a women's home. Pray Cherise continues to take steps to create a healthy future for herself and her two children. Pray she keeps her return appointment at CompassCare fully commits to carrying her pregnancy to term. --------- "Allie", who is pregnant with twins, has not yet ruled out getting an abortion. When her nurse reached out, she said she had not yet begun seeing an OB/GYN for prenatal care, but did ask if it was a good idea to take prenatal vitamins. Allie seems to be struggling to fully commit to carrying her pregnancy. Please continue to pray for her and the father of the babies. Pray God unites them in a commitment to protecting the lives of their children. --------- "Trish" (late thirties, unemployed) returned for a second appointment, saying she felt taking time to think has helped her. She was able to see her pregnancy is viable during the ultrasound exam, which brought tears to her eyes. She said she has always wanted to be a mom and realizes she may not get another chance to be pregnant at her age. Trish has some meaningful supports in her life, but needs to talk further with the father of the baby. He is currently separating from his wife and Trish is not confident he will support her.

Please pray for Trish's fears to be transformed into confidence. Pray her friends and family rally to support her and she resolves to carry to term.

Please continue to pray for Ella. She missed her follow-up appointment. When her nurse reached out to her, she said she is still pregnant but cannot get to CompassCare because she doesn't have transportation. Ella is at the end of her first trimester. Please pray she commits to continuing her pregnancy and seeks prenatal care. Pray for her nurse to have wisdom as she continues to follow-up in the coming weeks.
